For location we needed it was good.
For location we needed it was good. When booking on line they only had a few rooms available and the most cars in the parking lot on Fri and Sat pm was only 8 cars so more rooms where available . We preferred two beds but had to settle for King. The fact of unsecured building and a homeless/panhandler hanging around inside and outside was not what we wanted or expected. Seems that front desk was not monitoring cameras or maybe unlocked the door so this MAN could use the facilities because he seemed very much at home and the hall smelled of cig smoke the entire time(He was smoking outside every time we saw him

It was a decent bed for a night.
It was a decent bed for a night. Close to the hiking/mountain biking trails in the Frederick watershed. Food and drink nearby, but nothing fancy. Hotel appears old and could use some renovations and modernization.

Great locations while visiting Emmitsburg and Gettysburg.
Great locations while visiting Emmitsburg and Gettysburg. Close to St Elizabeth Seton Shrine and St Lourdes Grotto. Both shrines very serene, calm and beautiful. After walking for a few hours go to Rudys for great Maryland seafood and the famous Maryland crabs. The motel is located right across a shopping center, supermarket and few restaurants. Take a short drive up and over the hill to see beautiful homes and down the hill on your right there is a peach farm . The air is full of peach fragrance.. We missed breakfast ... it ended at 9AM but we had some delicious coffee . Great locations, safe and very clean
