This place is fantastic! We travelled to Xenia to spend the holiday weekend with my brother & his family. On a previous visit this summer we stayed just down the road at the Springs Motel, which is nice, however, on this occasion we opted to stay closer and selected the Enchanted Bungalow.
We arrived after sunset on a late November day and were delighted to find a light on inside one of the bedrooms to help us find our way about inside.
What an absolutely wonderful lodging! My husband was very impressed with the home and appreciated the architectural details. We enjoyed lounging in the parlor in the evening on the super comfortable sofa and definitely appreciated the heating system as the outdoor evening temps dropped to the mid 20s.
We certainly enjoyed the tall ceilings and room darkening drapes that covered the marvelous windows. We admired the roomy kitchen and all the space and dishes and cooking items. We enjoyed the coffee maker and coffee pods, sitting once again in the parlor on both mornings of our stay drinking hot cups of freshly brewed coffee.
The water pressure in the shower and fresh fluffy towels were much appreciated as well.
We decided we will definitely be booking this house again and look forward to spending a summer's evening on the back porch.

Place was very clean. We had a problem with the refrigerator in our room, the compressor went bad and woke me at 5 o'clock Monday morning. When I explained what happened to the person at the front desk, the manager said they would replace the refrigerator that day. When we returned, the new refrigerator was in place. It didn't have a freezer, and my husband uses insulin. He had an ice pack that keeps his insulin cool. The manager said they would put his ice pack in the freezer in the refrigerator they had in their break room.

When we first got there and checked in the key did not work so I went down to have them fix it the clerk started to fix the key and the phone rang and I was ask to wait that should have never went that way I was there first he was on the phone for ten minutes he made me wait it was 12 midnight and we had been on the road for ten hours and was tiered and he made me wait. The bed was ok to sleep in but the headboard was filthy. There was dust every where we dated the TV dust. there was caulking on the bed runner. the shower rod was falling off the wall. the carpet was not vacuumed wash rags was stained the towels were like sand paper. If it was not 12 midnight I would have asked for another room. For being a Ramada Inn it was the Worst room we have ever stayed in. The name Ramada Inn was not even on the building and the building was in the middle of town not along the highway.

Xenia is a very clean and beautiful place. A little distance off is the famous National Museum of Air Force. What a visit we had. The one Dollar and Charity Stores were very handy and well thought of for visitors.

The building is situated strangely, the check in office is in the back. This hotel is difficult to access as the parking lot spaces block the sidewalk entry and the sidewalks are very narrow. The bathroom needed the ceiling replaced. There were no individual soap or shampoo/conditioner amenities. A liquid bodywash dispenser was installed at the sink and in the shower area. The room door was missing the security chain/bolt catch so all that secured your door was the deadbolt. The night time desk clerk (Julie) was very nice. Tile floor in the "dog" room made me less apprehensive to allow my dog to be uncrated during our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is very close to stores, gas stations and restaurants in the local area, you could walk to them.

I went for an amateur radio convention at the fairgrounds.
I went for an amateur radio convention at the fairgrounds. Muddy, fairgrounds, with minimal facilities. The town had one good restaurant, and a very good ice cream shop and the annual radio meeting; otherwise nothing to recommend it.
Different than staying at a hotel, and was an interesting deviation from our norm. It was more personal than a hotel, and a cool building. Friendly hostess, and lots of interesting rooms and spaces to explore. Our suite (Majestic) was nicely appointed and very roomy, with a screened porch and a pool table in the suite, but unfortunately we weren't there long enough to enjoy use of them. We were just there for one very short night on a long drive home.
Location was close to a Tim Horton's, my favorite coffee and breakfast place, and to the Xenia Cemetery, which we visited. There was no carpeting on the floor but tile floor instead, which I prefer because it is cleaner. Very quiet.
