The downtown area is beautiful with all the murals and we ate at the cutest old fashion drive-in. The people were all very friendly. It was a very easy city to get to as well as get around. It was very busy Friday night but Sunday morning it was a ghost town which I found very interesting. We also took a little trip to a local covered bridge which was so gorgeous.

We stay there cause of it actually being a city of places to go to compared to smaller towns in the area. The only down side is the motel rates for the best motels are higher rate than if you go to a much bigger city. But we still pay it reguardless cause it's a better motel than the cheap ones with much more space in the suite and bigger breakfast selection and indoor heated pool. I will never go anywhere else but Chillicothe Comfort Inn And Suite. My in laws live in Hale and we drive from Fort Smith, AR.

An amazing little town for a population of under 10,000 they have a water park in City Park it is way better than cities for five times the size. It could be a destination point if you want to bring your kids and have a good time at a waterpark. And picnic home of sliced bread.

It was dirty and smelled like mold.
It was dirty and smelled like mold. We checked out my wife couldn't stay we had to check out. the manager offered 1/2 refund which wasn't fair. He had the secure door at the end of hall propped open anybody had access.

Chillicothe has been our staying point on several occasions.
Chillicothe has been our staying point on several occasions. No issues with any motels. Fast food could be improved......The McDonald’s in Chillicothe could definitely improve their quality. Pizza Hut great! Golden Corral is great! On one occasion in Chillicothe, we had an issue with our car over heating. The local GM Dealership got us in IMMEDIATELY and solved our problem. Then, the Service Manager did not charge us for their service.
