Lebanon, IN is a typical, small midwestern town alongside a major interstate. Even though only less than 30-miles from downtown Indianapolis, IN, the town closes up early so plan your dinner meals accordingly or you will have to eat fast food at the interstate exit. Very easy to head north through town and pick up State Route 32 east and west to get to events north of Indy and stay off the beltways around Indy and all the summer road construction and main reason I booked hotel in Lebanon. Easy to get downtown, a quick 28-miles down I-65 during the weekend and where we went to eat dinner and sight-see a little bit. Flap-Jacks restaurant seemed to be where extended families from Lebanon, IN came to eat breakfast but is only opened until 2:30 PM daily.

The only problem I had was that the price is never the same. They change the price often. I was there on the way to ky ay 79.00 and a couple of weeks later they wanted 120.00 for one night about 8 hours there. I was so upset. I go to the same hotel every year when going down to ky. The prices have gotten out of control. I mostly stay in the same room when I go closest to the desk. In the morning they are very load during check out time. In the end they did give me the room for 100.00. With tax and all it was 112.??. They have no compassion for you but that all mighty buck. Now remember I did stay there two weeks before for 79.00 and last year for only 54.00. I am sorry but there rooms do need some work done to them. My husband had a small stroke I shortened my stay in ky and then came on to this at the hotel. I even ask them could I sleep in there parking lot in my car. I have stayed in there place for at least 10 years and the price just keeps going up and nothing changes in the rooms. Some furniture need cleaned, I am 73 and you know you just get use to being so e where and you just keep going back. I just don't know about that now. They are only concerned about that almighty buck. Ok time to stop. Over all the people are very friendly, it is right off the freeway.

Lebanon is nice town.
Lebanon is nice town. However, the motel is at the edge of town, and if you want see the downtown area, you have to intentionally drive there.
One nice thing is that there is a candy factory across I-65 from the motel, and it has a chocolate outlet store.
When traveling back towards Indy, we saw two people paragliding about 5 miles away from the motel.

We were just traveling through for the night and really weren't in Lebanon for pleasure. We did visit "That Bar" and enjoyed the food and drinks. I hope to return soon to Lebanon to enjoy some of the stores, etc.
I was pleasantly surprised that the least expensive stay in Lebanon was as nice as it was. I also prefer a place where you can park your car outside of the entrance to the room. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with a good sized mini refrigerator and a freezer compartment that actually kept a food item frozen.
The manager offered to help us with our luggage even though he was on his way home for the day. The facility and amenities were top notch. Breakfast was restaurant quality. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. I highly recommend Hampton Inn Lebanon!
Very nice property, located close to the interstate we were traveling for two days and this was an easy option logistically. Breakfast was plentiful, hotel was clean. All good ( except for random power outages)
The room had a laminate floor instead of carpet. The complaint of dirty rooms at most hotels is filthy carpet so that problem couldn’t happen here. The floor had been cleaned properly, so that was good.
I've stayed in a few hotels where the beds were uncomfortable. The king size mattress and pillows enveloped me like a cloud! I went to sleep every night exhausted only to wake the next morning refreshed.
