The hotel was fine enough for one night any more and I would have asked for my room to be cleaned as the bed sheets, walls, couch pillows and cushions all had stains. The floor was pretty dirty I don't think our room was swept because there was confetti and a lot of dust all over the floor. Every lamp in the room was covered in dust as well. The pool looked like it needed a makeover. I didn't want to get in because it looked old and dirty. Lisa at the front desk was very sweet and professional. I appreciated her service. My receipt only had the room charge on it not the charge for incidentals, I haven't received that money back yet and it's been 3 days so far. I'm going to give it a couple more days and I'll update this review to say if I've received my $100 deposit back.

Franciscan University's connection to Best Western made the stay especially nice. All of the staff were so kind and generous. We felt like we were at home. I definitely recommend Best Western to anyone visiting Franciscan University.

Was attending a funeral. It is our hometown.
Was attending a funeral. It is our hometown. Area needs some help to attract big business to get money flowing so downtown can be rebuilt. Maybe an industrial park. And then use a commercial realtor to advertise. We were pleasantly surprised by such a wide variety of restaurants in the area. We choose take out from Froehlich’s Classic Corner downtown. Decent pricing, pleasant staff, and they got our order exactly right. The decor was awesome and we wished we could have dined in.

Steubenville is home to the Catholic powerhouse, Franciscan...
Steubenville is home to the Catholic powerhouse, Franciscan University which is worthy of a tour in its own right. Steubenville has historical interest ( Fort Steuben etc) as well as an intriguing past. Best of all Steubenville still has an ethnic vibe and a wonderful Italian grocery, Federico’s.

My old home town I truly love everything it has to offer.
My old home town I truly love everything it has to offer. Places do close too early. I saw the Steubenville Big Red play in the Best high school game ever 57 to 56 lost in Over time. Went to Capri and the Spot Bar great time at Spot meeting up for all 80 class reunion.
