Clifton was nice and very close to Montclair where there were excellent restaurants and shops. Allwood Diner in Clifton was a great place for breakfast. Toast in Montclair was also great for breakfast/brunch. Fauberg in Montclair was lovely for lunch.
Excellent choice of takeouts. Trader Joe’s in Clifton was the best supermarket. The train to Manhattan wasn’t direct from Clifton and there were a lot of steps. We travelled from Montclair Heights which was direct into Penn Station and is wheelchair friendly.

As a non resident of Clifton NJ, as a guest conducting personal business. The online representation of the King size room(s) that was assigned did not meet my expectations. Overall condition of the room was poor, housekeeping was not the best, the second night began seeing roaches in the room, difficulties with the key at least 4 times. Although I've extended by stay due to personal business, I've not unpacked my suitcase. My favorite spot was sitting outside since property is non-smoking. Most of my meals have been at IHOP or purchasing items from Trader Joe's. I would avoid staying for extended time, get in get out.

This hotel was horrible. I would never come back here.
This hotel was horrible. I would never come back here. It smelled real bad. Room wasn’t clean, sheets had stains on them. Bathtub had stains and was filthy. I will post a review for sure. Too much money for this filthy places. Pool was closed,no breakfast with COVID excuse. Most places have released some COVID restrictions. Hallways are not vacuumed and had old smell. No A/C in the hallways. Only 1 elevator was working.

We went to enjoy the new American Dream Mall, which was a HUGE disappointment. There were only 3 attractions opened, eventhough the website suggested more. The Nickelodeon indoor amusement park was overpriced and overrated! I think close to 5 rides were down for maintenance. I paid $69.99 each for 3 tickets and could have bought season passes to a REAL amusement park for a few dollars more. I also had to pay $59.99 for myself to get in and I am not physically able to ride any rides, so I paid to sit and watch. When we went to purchase tickets for "The Ring" so the children could ice skate we were informed that it was not open to the public on both days we went because they had a booked event. Again, not stated on the website. We went to the 3rd and only attraction opened, which was "It's Sugar" a 3 story candy store. Well when we went it was a 2 story because the 3rd floor was not completed. We drove 3 hours and booked a 4 day stay and we were utterly disappointed.

There was adequate shopping and services in the area.
There was adequate shopping and services in the area. I was able to locate stores and shops with ease. I was within a short driving distance to friends and family. It was very convenient to have a Red Robin Restaurant next door to the hotel. It was very convenient to have NJ-3 Highway accessible to travel to and from different locations.

We stayed in Clifton only to sleep, so was not out and about much. Came up for funeral in Montclair and location and price were good, not knowing anything about area. Located a bit more north, but destinations were easily accessible. My family did venture out to Red Robin restaurant, and found it to be very satisfying. I went out exploring a bit and met the friendliest people at Wendy's. I loved the proximity to NYC, although we did not get a chance to go. But l now know where to stay when l come back to visit NYC.
People were ok.
Room was dirty.
Washroom was smelly.
Bathtub water was not drain properly.
Pillow and blanket was also smelly.
Find so many hairs from the bed.
It was worst experience I ever had in my life.
This hotel screwed my damm family vacation.
I am really upset about it..
Never gonna recommend to anybody.

You will see how generous I usually give all my other trips from past..
there were always cleaning people working. staff was helpful but not intrusive or annoying. rooms were nice size, hotel was quiet and comfortable and spacious. parking lot was large. Breakfast was really good, lots of options and included.
I enjoyed very much. I was here for a bodybuilding competition. They accommodated us well,
Oh, and the TV had YT and netflix to sign into! real plus.
The property was ok . I didn’t like that the pool was closed due to covid even though restrictions have been lifted. It was a lot of wild guest and traffic in and out the hotel . Pets were allowed. Dogs pooped in the hallway and It was dried up old blood on the pillows. The manager gave me a credit but I won’t be booking again .
The room 😍 very clean and quiet with microwave and refrigerator the outdoor smoking" the location 👌 8 minutes walk to target 15 minutes walk to stop shop supermarket very close to new york city the bus from Port authority stop in front the target 😀 don't need to close the street walk 8 minutes the hotel!!!
Close to Clifton Commons so we walked there. Its good value for money. If you have a group of 4 people Uber is cheaper to Hoboken. We took a cab to Hoboken ferry it cost $9 per person to cross over to NYC. You have the best view of New York City. You can catch the ferry to Wall Street for $13.
The room was clean, staff was nice, the pool was nice bigger than any hotel I've stayed at. There is a cute little pub around the corner which is called emerald corner. Great food and service. If you like little hole in the wall places. This is the place to go.
we loved the location of the property. It was within a 5-10 minute driving distance to the American dream mall. There were also lots of other stores and restaurants nearby the hotel
