Loved the views and how clean the place was. The hosts were absolutely amazing and were so welcoming! We got to see some whales from the deck. The property is very well kept. There was a dreamy amount of flowers surrounding the property. The instructions were easy to follow for checking in and checking out. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts, we hope to see you again in the future!

Trinidad is a very cute seaside town in Humboldt County.
Trinidad is a very cute seaside town in Humboldt County. There are a few beaches to choose from, some cute gift stores, places to eat, a grocery store and easy access to the surrounding area. The Hangtown Fry from Seascape Restaurant on the pier has changed my life!!

After a trip up to the redwoods we had more daylight and decided to go to the Trinidad beach. We hiked up the hill from the beach. What glorious birdseye views of the beach, as well as the Pacific Ocean. Its a bit of a incline to do, but well worth it.

We stayed at one of the many inns at Patrick's Point, but went to Trinidad and to McKinleyville for dining. There is a lot to do in the area if you like nature, barking seals to redwoods, where do you start? Local flavor and general vibe in the area is very nice as we saw it.

I lived and worked in Trinidad/Big Lagoon in my twenties (I'm 65 now). I am amazed by the beauty every time I return. Great beaches for walking and agate hunting -- swimming is reserved for the hardy.
Great hiking and wonderful beach access at Trinidad State Beach and in Sue-Meg (Patricks Point) State Park. Redwood National Park is incredible rain or shine -- a few years back we saw a Pacific giant salamander -- what could be better!
Great kayaking (bring your own) and birding opportunities along the coast from Eureka to Big Lagoon.

It's absolutely beautiful and the ocean is so peaceful if you go to Trinidad tho the place to stay is the Trinidad Bed and Breakfast we watched the sunset over the bay from the front porch of are room
Big space with a cottage rather than motel feel. Nice view from the deck. Lots of little thoughtful extras. We especially appreciated the kitchenette, with a sink, microwave, coffee machine, fridge...and crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, etc. Breakfast was delivered the night before (covid prevention stuff) and there were lots of good choices. Grounds: Nice open space between the cottages. A BBQ area, laundry...Staff friendly and helpful. Easy/quick to shoot back to Trinidad and the spectacular coast.
Our cabin was so cute and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal and we could see a little bit of the ocean from the front deck. The setting was gorgeous with green grass, tall trees and manicured landscaping. Location was perfect between Trinidad and Patricks Pt state park. We will definitely be back to stay again!
Amazing view and surroundings. As far as the house goes, really comfortable and the amenities were great. Something fussy and important to me is the placement of electric outlets on the wall - many hotels don't have sufficient ones. But this place was excellent, all of them well placed. Furthermore, it was clean and cozy. Staff answered our questions promptly.
Very beautiful location overlooking Trinidad Bay and the coast. The room was large clean and comfortable with exceptional views. The staff was very friendly and endeavored to provide an excellent stay even during the end of the pandemic. The location was a great starting point to the Redwood state and national parks as well as the north coast.
Very cozy house by the beach. Trinidad and surrounding area is beautiful I spent most of my time in Redwoods. Unfortunate half of my time I was struck by gout but had a great time lounging in the sun room. Lot's of birds visit the backyard where you can see via sun room Murphys grocery and restaraunts are all walking distance or 1 min drive.
Loved the beautiful serene location in middle of nature(including the wonderful nature walk at back of property), spacious well stocked rooms and being close to Trinidad town, beach as well as Redwood national forest. There were activities for families and couple onsite (campfire, bbq, games) too!
We loved everything, you got mountains at your back, ocean in front, fireplace, grill outdoor seating. You can't go wrong with this rental. With trinidad just down the way you got grocerie shopping ,places to eat and shop. If you get a chance you must go.you would be going back like are soon.
Love the price. We have stayed in a lot of the different cabins at view crest. We ended up in the smaller room because it was all that was left, a last minute booking for us. Still bigger than other places in trinidad for the price.
The hotel is just 18 minutes away from Thomas Kuchel Visitor Center in Redwood National Park. We did two days of hiking in Redwood NP. So it really helps to stay at this hotel. Innkeeper cooks great breakfast.
The property is extraordinary. There is a trail through the tall trees which eventually reaches the coast. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The nearby hamlet of Trinidad is a joy.
Place is a close walking distance to College Cove and Trinidad State Beach. Has internet, but still a quiet place to find respite. Even with the heater left off the cabin was comfortably cozy cool.
Loved the woodsy atmosphere. The cabin was perfectly sized for 2 people. Loved the view and deck. Also, the town of Trinidad was very quaint but beautiful. Good restaurant food.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The stand alone cabin style was very cute and it felt like we were coming home to our house every night, instead of a hotel room.
View of Trinidad Bay; they had everything we needed and more. Fantastic breakfast! Soaps wonderful; Towels gigantic, nice space design. Close to the huge Redwoods!!!
Location was brilliant. Trinidad has a lot of character and plenty of facilities. The actual campsite is situated in the Emerald redwood forest, so it is ideal.
