The hotel was very nondescript in a fairly unattractive area (strip malls and gas stations) but it was convenient to 287 and I only needed a place to stay the night. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, even though some of the furniture and decor was a bit worn. The receptionist who checked me in was not particularly friendly or welcoming but seemed stressed out (the inn was sold out that night). I've had much better stays elsewhere but the hotel was perfectly adequate for one night.Tobey - 10Scored 10

Suffern is pretty much a urban region but a good place to base your trip to Rockland region. Is pretty close to bear mountain and a lot of cool parks and landscapes. The city has some structure and you ll always find a place to eat (not great places anyway) or a pharmacy and they have a huge walmart if you need anything else.MauroUnited States of America

I want to call out the desk staff being super, super helpful with a lot of last minute things we needed, like printing out wedding guest lists, etc., on short notice and with big smiles on their faces. We checked in around 4:30am (our flight to JFK landed 5 hours late) and they offered complimentary late checkout. Really appreciated. Worth a mention: the breakfast. It was delicious! Good job!
