Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business. It is close to one location my company operates. Also, close enough (just over an hour) to a major airport (Salt Lake City, Utah). Depending on the time of year you can enjoy many outdoor activities.

    Bathroom needs to be changed.

Bathroom needs to be changed. Stool was made for a kid, had hard time sitting down and then getting up. Not disability compliant I am sure. One lamp had a short in it, so unplugged it. Breakfast food was cold one morning out of two days that I ate there. Was clean and was good size, but bathroom sucked.

We only stayed overnight and didn't see alot of the city.

We only stayed overnight and didn't see alot of the city. We had a mechanical problem with our vehicle. Visited Auto Zone. The Staff was happy to help us get the correct part we needed. We stopped at McDonald's for a quick breakfast. The ladies working the morning shift were very pleasant.

We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March.

We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March. It was excellent. The volunteers who helped with it were terrific! Some housed the musicians, Many helped from the admissions table to moving chairs to taking out trash. What a great group of people helped! The cost for the weekend was very reasonable. The food available for purchase, and the beer, were very good. The people we talked with were friendly and pleasant.

We decided to go see the train Round House in town.

We decided to go see the train Round House in town. It was super fun and interesting. We were able to walk all around the grounds and see the event centers. There are trains the kids can climb up on and see the controls. We were able to walk out on the train turn table, that was cool. Excellent place for photos! We did go on a Saturday and the Round House was closed to tour the inside of the building, but there was still plenty to see.

VERY nicely renovated property - a great physical space....lots of thought went into the recent renovation. Also, a lovely, more than adequate breakfast, very much better than the average US chain highway/motorway hotel. Great location - especially as we wanted to have dinner at "Bon Rico", one of those gems/restaurants in small town USA where the food is marvelous, the service proper, the prices fair, etc. It was just down the hill, a 5 minute drive from the hotel.

Every thing is clean. All rooms are on ground floor. The hot breakfast is served in the restaurant on the property and was good. Absolutely every employee we came in contact with were very friendly, went out of their way to take care of you and make you feel welcome. The restaurant had delicious food. we ate dinner both nights and the food was excellent and large portions. If I ever return to Evanston I would definitely stay here!!

It was comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice. They went out of their way to be helpful and answer all my questions. The room was nice but a little bit smallish. Still, it felt nice to be in the room. Traveling through parts of the country where acceptance is not valued is dangerous for us. We were so happy to find this hotel where that was not an issue. It seems everyone would be welcome. It was a good value.

The room was very spacious. The location of the hotel was very quiet. There is a diner across the street that’s suppose to be good. We didn’t try it. You need to preorder to use the drive throughout at the diner.
