I loved EVERYTHING about this place! The price was awesome, the room was immaculate and the carpets in the hallway and room are a beautiful clean blue! The lamps and lighting was modern and clean and gorgeous. The refrigerator in my room was way larger than the pricier hotels and the microwave was clean the furniture was very modern and the sheets were cloud white! I'm staying at this place every time I visit my relatives here period! The staff was pleasant and the lobby was clean with a beautiful floor as well. The desk design was something I actually want in my kitchen after seeing it. Truly amazing.

    It's a pretty small town.

It's a pretty small town. They roll the sidewalks up at 7:45pm. Very quiet and peaceful place. The little bakery is very quaint. The food in every town is fresh. We love the little mom and pop stores and restaurants.

Utica is a quiet rustic town with an abundance of nature and wildlife. There's Buffalo Rock, Starved Rock, Catlin Park, and Mathieson Park. We got married at Catlin park during our stay under a beautiful tressel. Downtown is quaint with a few restaurants, shops, and pubs

Utica is quaint. Shops, bars, tourist type establishments.

Utica is quaint. Shops, bars, tourist type establishments. Place called Jamie's Outpost connected to Mix's Trading Post. Jamie's is great...BIG, covered deck. Lots of bikers but they were great - no problems. Good people having a good time. Jamie's is expanding a kitchen that is to be open my Memorial Day and I am sure the food will be outstanding. Just a fun place, lots of retail, cold beers, Moonshine of all kinds.....Families??? Depends on yours, I guess. Nothing wrong with it just not much for kids to do. I understand Jamie's has bands out on the deck pretty much all summer. As I said, fun place, nice people!! Went to Skoog's in downtown to eat. Good food, fair prices.
