We came on Tuesday and late in the afternoon, so most of the stores were closed.That was disappointing. However we did find one antique store ope, and enjoyed brousing there. And one boutique type store was open and my friend spent $ there.

I used to live in Ottawa 30 years ago.
I used to live in Ottawa 30 years ago. As I drove in town the parking spaces were full and lots going on downtown. It was charming to see so many in the park and the streets alive with people. It looks like the stores invite shoppers and everything looks so quaint and peaceful. I miss Ottawa!!!

Attended a wedding in Plano with the reception in Ottawa. Hotel was in the perfect location. Staff was friendly and courteous, rooms were updated and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Ottawa is such a beautiful and clean town with lots of history and delicious places to eat. The annual Wine Festival was the best we have attended. Everyone was friendly and they offer free shuttles to and from area hotels. This will definitely be on our annual events list!

We stayed here to go to the starved rock state park and it was a fair location from there. Rooms are nice and big and the beds are very comfortable. My friend and I asked for a extra pillow and we were given two extra pillows. Tons of food options, grocery stores, gas stations and I-80 nearby. Hotel is in a great condition and I would come back here if I ever came to this state park!
