Jamestown is a small, laid back beach town without the hustle and bustle you find in other places. The setting is gorgeous. It is close to Newport and other cute historic towns and beaches to explore. There are some interesting historical sites; especially recommend the lighthouse. And of course, there are great little restaurants and bakeries.

    Liked the town a lot.

Liked the town a lot. Great walks down by the ferry and piers. Very good local bakeries, coffee shops and interesting shopping. We met very friendly people in the town and Newport is a very short ride away with lots of great restaurants and things to do.
