The resort felt very modern and open, even though it was a busy week it didn’t feel like it was. The lines at the water slides were moving fast and the staff were very satisfying. My experience from checking in at the front desk with a happy welcoming from associate Anthony, he really provided the best customer service. Jason the resturant manager went on and beyond to accommodate my family. I want to recognize associate Yenny for providing great customer service.

The interior is done very well, clearly the owners invested considerably into renovations and interior decorating.

It's a very pretty house, with really nice decorations, very much Victorian style! The location is in a cute town with lots of nature around. Was easy to see fall colors.

Quaint, quiet and desolate; however, beautiful mountain views. It is a good place for relaxation if you are not looking to do much.
We ventured to the Crystal Run mall in Middleton which is about 24-30mins(drive).
At the Catskills Resort Casino, we ate at Lotus Restaurant; we tried to eat at The Diner, but the initial service was blah to terrible. We really did not enjoy our experience as much as we hoped for. My expensive bracelet went missing. We did not get one drink on the casino floor the entire day and a half we were there, even when the service buttons were pressed. One of the worst casino experiences we have had (and we visit a lot of casinos across the nation), but willing to give it one more try in the future.
You are still encouraged to visit and try your own luck as it may be different depending on who you are (wink wink).

Broadway is a great area for the main business district.
Broadway is a great area for the main business district. Monticello is a very nice area. The bagel festival was great. There was a Walgreens right close by the Inn where I was able to get a wall charger. The baked bakery is a great place to get breakfast in the morning

Monticello was a great town in it's day, but it is not as busy as it once was. There are many closed and empty stores as well as homes. The Raceway still has trotting races and BethEl Woods, home of Woodstock, is still there to tour. The Casino is a place to visit and there are some other attractions. We toured the old Borscht Belt (old grounds of the hotels like Grossingers, Kutschers, Browns, the Raleigh and more. We saw Bungalow Colonies and many things that we had heard about from the 1960s, when this was a bustling place to be. My opinion is you need a car to get around. There are places to walk around, but while we were there it was rainy. We still enjoyed and did not break the bank. The restaurants were very reasonably priced.

When we asked to put the Two rooms on separate credit cards they put all of the charges on one and added an additional room to the second card at a much higher rate. No one at the property will talk to us or fix the problem because we booked the original two rooms through Booking.com.

Came for a short visit.
Came for a short visit. I ate at Miss Monticello Diner, not too easy to get around, you need a taxi or bus to get around, unless you like long walks. You may like the casino. I would avoid the cold weather.
beautiful hotel structure, equipped with many comforts and with the possibility of practicing yoga and similar activities, enjoying massages, practicing physical activity in a large, clean and well-equipped gym. hotel immersed in the greenery of a beautiful forest overlooking the lake and with the possibility of going for walks or bicycle rides. excellent and plentiful breakfast. friendly, welcoming and professional staff. A 5-minute drive from the town of Monticello.
Everything was awesome! This has been one of our best family vacations! The water park is awesome - very nice interior,.a lot of natural sunlight, fun rides, and amazing lifeguards on duty. The hotel is also awesome, the rooms are spacy,. comfortable and well maintained! The arcade games and activities were awesome and our family had a blast! We are definitely returning!
be my girlfriend walked in there we couldn’t even stay cigarette burns all over the bathroom countertops cigarette burns inside the carpets the linens were all stained all of the bedding had burn holes in it the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen they gave us a different room it was just as bad I ended up packing up and leaving we did not stay an entire hour
The staff were professional, and actually called our room to see if we needed anything. That alone was the most impressive courtesy we have ever experienced while staying in a hotel anywhere! The casino offered a very eclectic music arrangement that made it a party atmosphere. We cannot wait to visit again!
Nicely decorated, spacious and clean. I forgot an expensive item in the room when I checked out and three days later when I realized, I called and they had it waiting for me. I have left items in other hotels and find they have gone missing even within hours. I was so grateful.
Was very scary pulling in feel like your being watched. Looks like they are apartments more then hotel rooms. Very uninviting paid my room fee and left. Price was great that is the only good thing about it
Great hotel, great staff, very welcoming and helpful. My toilet wasn't working but I called reception and they promptly sent people who fixed it. The indoor pool was great!
