There's not a whole lot to do in Lincolnwood, but it is centrally located to everything you would want to do in Chicago and the northern suburbs. The hotel taxes are much lower than in the city so if you're planning to be on the north side, it could be a great option.

We enjoyed eating at Panera Bread Restaurant for breakfast...
We enjoyed eating at Panera Bread Restaurant for breakfast and did some shopping at the mall across from the motel which included Ross and a dollar store. With the Motel located right at the corner depending on what time you were leaving it was difficult to merge into traffic. Also due to traffic being right outside your window you could hear people talking and the traffic cars going through especially in the mornings and late at night. Further from the area we stayed there were plenty of places to eat, shop and a nice AMC theater, Tuesday being a cheaper day to see a movie with your AMC registration. Lou Manatti's a good place to have Chicago style pizza , meatball sub with the fruit on the side.
