We went in the deep of winter to experience the lake and do some hiking. Erie Bluffs State Park and Presque Isle State Park were really nice without people and bugs of summer. Everyone we met was very nice and welcoming. I loved the multi-ethnic vibes, food places, neighborhoods, and waterfront of Erie. I was invited to attend an Eastern Orthodox service at a cool little church on Sunday morning as I walked around some of the older neighborhoods. The people and the church were beautiful. The Maritime Museum and walking by the working ship yards was very cool.

We travel to Erie previously quite a few times there was our first time staying at this hotel had I had more time off work I would have liked to stay longer maybe not at this hotel itself. Me and my spouse took our kids to Splash Lagoon which was excellent very tiring we ate at Smokey Bones which was amazing everything was real close to the hotel which was good. I would just recommend that hotel stating that there's no microwaves in the room.

We loved Presque Isle.
We loved Presque Isle. We spent some time walking the trails. The layout of the city is good, so you can find your way around easily. The zoo was a disappointment. You can tell, they are working on it but it still is a sad situation.

We were lucky and had beautiful weather.
We were lucky and had beautiful weather. So we spent most of out time outside at the Presque Isle recreation areas, eating outside, etc. If we had not been so fortunate we would have visited the Maritime Museum and the Art Museum and other places of interest to us. There are also so many great eateries, and in a 4-day visit like ours we could only sample a few.

I love being on the beach at Sunset & taking pictures, watching the waves come in, being in the sand & sun. Applebee's had Great food and service, I had the steak mashed potatoes broccoli delicious 6 oz steak, my husband had a hamburger, it was delicious, grandson had mac and cheese and chicken tenders his was fine, son-in-law had shrimp, he loved it.
Beautiful hotel right by the lake! The view from our room was amazing. We were right by the lake and you even felt like you were on a cruise. The hotel's restaurant was delicious. The bar had good drinks and service everywhere was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to other rooftops and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for a weekend and just enjoy Erie. Would highly recommend it. It has a parking garage right next to the hotel.
Hotel is very run down. The first room 136 the bedspread had burnt holes everywhere and the bathroom toilet didn’t flush and was filthy. Got another room 233. It was a bit better but we discovered after we unpacked the floors were not very clean. There was mild in the bathroom. Only liked it was close to the casino and the back roads to Peach street were very scenic. The bar and restaurant was the best.
The stay was wonderful! Room was spacious, very clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff at the front desk was friendly and courteous, It was great that our dog stayed for free and the room was exceptionally clean and fresh-smelling.
There was no evidence of another animal in the room prior to our stay there. The location was great. I will definitely stay again when I am vacationing in Erie, PA.
I loved the location the room i had was amazing and more spacious then any other hotel i have stayed at. The room stayed cold the ac worked really good i loved the bathroom, the staff, and the hotel itself was clean and the room was great for my family of 5 and i would recommend this hotel to anyone. So if i decide to come back to erie pa this is the hotel im coming to
Chris is an amazing host. Dedicated to ensuring guests have a great time during their stay and responsive to any queries. He really goes “above and beyond.” This stop on our road trip was charming and perfectly suited to our needs. 4 minute walk from the Seawolves ballpark. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Chris.
I live outside of Pittsburgh, PA. When I need to get away, but don’t want to go far, Erie is often my last minute choice. So cheap is key. Between the “also very cheap” red roof inn right next door, Motel 6 wins. I’ve always liked Motel 6 for the price, but also,
Cheap and just what you'd expect for a roadside hotel off the interstate.
Easy to reach and standard room.
No frills, and we didn't expect any.
Felt generally safe and generally clean.
Great price for a night's sleep.
The room was spacious, great shower
Nice swimming pool and good gym
Nice staff, could check in earlier if room was available , great hotel.
Also had a beer garden, though we didn’t check it, it seams nice
Pet friendly, clean, comfortable, and had helpful staff. I left too early to make sure of the breakfast and bar, but those seem like a nice amenity for a longer stay. Overall great experience.
Excellent & a very clean place to stay w/ a great downtown location. Chris is a great host. Easy to get to and very helpful Staff. I would recommend it as a place to stay to enjoy Erie Pa.
I like the old fashioned one floor motel. No halls or elevators. More secure being able to go from car directly to room.
Erie is my hometown and was there for class reunion.
The room and facilities were very clean. The staff was very polite and the guests were very friendly as well. We would love to return back to this hotel for a future stay.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and rooms were well appointed. We also enjoyed the variety of the complimentary breakfast.
Great price for a fine hotel half way from Pittsburgh to Niagara Falls. Decent gym, swimming pool and breakfast. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.
