Comfort. Hard working staff.
Allergy attentive. gluten free cereal and bread available. They said milk also but that must be for the dairy free people. All sheets and towels were very nice. Bed was comfortable and so was room temperature which we could adjust. Everything seemed new and worked well.

Chose the city because of location to local loved ones.
Chose the city because of location to local loved ones. The hotel area is bland and a bit run down. There is little by way of grocery / shopping near by. It is near highways. Neighborhoods are upscale, and good dining is within 10-minute by car.

They do not do maid service each day unless you ask.
They do not do maid service each day unless you ask. This was not communicated at check in. Caused us to run out of towels (later sent up), ran out of amenities such as soap, shampoo and toilet paper, coffee for the coffee bar, cups and glassware. , trash was not emptied. Had we known that we could request maid service we certainly would have.

Sheets were not washed, I'm not snobby, but there was a red stain and a clump of hair in my sheets. The only other thing that bugged me was that everything in the breakfast, covid to-go bag was carbs and sugar. I mean give me a freaking cheese stick.... I'm diabetic anyway, so I'm not just some dieting chick, I seriously try to watch and balance my carbs. So to go from a normal hotel breakfast with eggs and bacon and other low carb items to sugary fruit and poptart type breakfast bars

Deerfield is in a nice location. Easy acces off tollway. Good places to eat: Rosebud, Jimmy Thai , Cherry Pit. Portillos is a must . Northbrook court is great shopping , nice restaurants, and see a movie. The Milwaukee Road train station in town is a fast way to, Union Staion in Chicago, where the ctivities are endless! There is a Whole Foods, Barnes and Noble, cute little shops in downtown Deerfield, and a convenient 24 hour Walgreens.DonnaUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
Hotel is great.
Hotel is great. Staff very friendly but almost didn’t happen as I booked through booking.com and they never made the reservation despite me having all my confirmation and thank god because after 8 hours on the road, I almost had no room except I had my confirmation. But hotel had no record. When they called booking .com, they just said, oops we screwed up

That is why we like to stay at Embassy Suites. The fact that the hotel is pet friendly is wonderful. The side door to the pet area near the elevators was easy and great.
