The breakfast wasn’t good, less then warm but not cold; wasn’t up to Hampton standards

Remodeling but the room I had was finished and clean , breakfast was great...waffles, sausage, eggs were yummy! Fun reading lights at your bed.

My husband and I took an overnight trip to Jackson to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The big problem we had was that the most interesting things (for us) were outside, but it rained cats and dogs in the afternoon of the first day and the whole next day, so we left earlier than we'd planned. We tried in vain to find other, interesting things to do, but since it was the middle of the week, every other museum or indoor attraction was closed until the weekend.

It was not fit to be rented.
It was not fit to be rented. It was disgustingly dirty, we did not stay for our reservation, we walked in the rooms and walked right back out, and they charged a credit card of a person that was not on the trip with us. Some of the windows were broken on the rooms as well. We asked for them to reverse the charges and they said that they would not and that we had to contact the manager. We went back to the hotel to see the manager August7th, was told she was not in. We have called and left messages and have not been contacted by anyone from that hotel. It would never recommend this place for an animal to stay at let alone a human being!!! Absolutely horrible that a place in it's condition and how the staff treat people is listed on a site like booking.com.

Excellent stay all around.
Excellent stay all around. Would lightly recommend this hotel. Very clean. Great location. Comfy bed. The only bad thing was the people next to us had an adult birthday party and could hear doors slamming all night.

Not a lot to do in Jackson.
Not a lot to do in Jackson. The Cascading Falls wasn’t operational when we were there. The Mall looked run down and too scary to go into. Jax 60 bowling and Arcade was nice but under construction and when we stayed, there was a PGA tournament going on so no open bowling. We didn’t see much else to do other than take a prison tour if you want.

Not worth $225 a night.
Not worth $225 a night. The place either needs more help or they just don't care. No room cleaning the 3 days we stayed. Had to remove our own dirt towels and garbage. Keys would not work most of the time.

I only came to Jackson to visit with my kids and grandkids.
I only came to Jackson to visit with my kids and grandkids. We had a picnic in a very nice park called McCourty Park. All sculptures were made of stone even though they look like wood. The park is big with plenty of room for all the kids to run around and play.
Had a booked confirmation and when I got there . The owner lied to me saying that she never received the confirmation. I spoke to booking and they said that both confirmations are sent out together. So it was clear that the owner was lying. I had to sleep in my car because it was past the 2am and no hotels were available.
So how many stars should I give ?
The staff was outstanding. We had to check in because of our recent 4 day power outage and so did the entire town, it seemed. I'm sure the front desk was stressed but they handled it well. The rooms were clean, but like most hotels I have stayed in. The mattress for the pull out sofa was really bad. They really need to change those.
surely this hotel cannot be called a hotel, better said the horror hotel, I do not recommend, do not go there, please from the bottom of my heart, it is horrible, the bathroom is full of infection, the bathtub, the shower is not
it's clean off, I'd rather sleep in the tortured car than there, thank you
Clean rooms with very nice staff. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. There is a no frills pool if you want to splash around.
The complementary breakfast was very good with yogurt, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, coffee, fruit, and oatmeal. Above and beyond!
The hotel was nice but I booked because of the pool it didn't say anywhere that thr pool was down online I honestly could have booked cheaper with a pool but chose this hotel for the location and the pool im disappointed
I did not have the breakfast. The location was kind of seedy, but it was in Jackson, Michigan. So I knew what I was getting into. People who live there call it Crack Town.
