We loved the close proximity to restaurants, stores, the peace and serenity and our host's great advice . We chose Cajun Jack's to eat during our first night and were so very pleased with the fun environment and great seafood!! It was easy to get around in Elizabeth and we can't wait to revisit this jewel of a town, so close to Galena! This is a small town situated in beautiful country! You’ll find a few local eateries and a wonderful ice cream and cupcake store! If you are looking for places to hang out in the evenings...once dinner is served, places close early. If you want to do the bars, do it in Galena and have a responsible driver for the 15-20 ride back to Elizabeth. Antiquers will enjoy a 3-story mall in Elizabeth👍

The apartment was spacious but cozy.
The apartment was spacious but cozy. We almost felt as if we were in a treehouse. The location was perfect for the area. The Galena area has beautiful scenery and we were right in the middle of it. We really looked forward to our gourmet breakfasts every morning. Sandy and David were gracious hosts.
