The residents were very kind and friendly. The restaurants along with many other retail employees were fantastic. Hornell offers many places to go to at your convenience. The con to shopping and buying food is based on specific days and time. A lot of stores and restaurants are closed on Sunday. The Texas Cafe is closed on Monday's. Their food is really good. The Best Western Maple city inn in Hornell is something to second guess. The General manager is unprofessional. They violate your privacy and that breakfast they offer is fabricated. Check your beds, towels etc. Not sanitized. Looks can be very deceiving. The best part about the stay was having the ability to move my child into his college. The distance between the hotel and his school was the highlight of my brief stay

The pool was a decent size with the area around it very nice to sit and relax. There was even a grilling area outside the pool. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. But more than that, the gal at the counter, Kirstin, was absolutely amazing! Booking.com messed up and gave her and us a bit of a hard time.
