It was 170 metres from the Subway. There were a range of shops and eateries, which because of the length of our stay we couldn't avail ourselves of. It is close enough to the city to make it a short shot to the major things you would like to do. The subway is very good and comprehensive enough for our needs. It was a friendly place which I would recommend to anyone.

I didn't like this hotel, it was not set up for travellers, but more for the convenience of the hotel. No breakfast apart from pastries and coffee, no drinking water in the room (I could get it from gym fountain according to reception).

Somerville has several squares where shops, restaurants, and bars are concentrated. The larger squares have T stops (red or green), or there are lots of bus routes (or of course uber, but it can get really traffick-y with a decent amount of road work, bikes, and narrow streets). If you're looking to get off the beaten path, Somerville feels like it has fewer students than Cambridge and fewer tourists than Boston. Try Inman Square for cute little shops, or Union Square for views of Boston from Prospect Hill Park or bars with live local music most nights of the week. Places like Bow Market, Field & Vine, or Winterhill Brewing are kind of tucked away and really feel like you've discovered a gem. Somerville has lots of local breweries, and a lot of the liquor stores have great craft/local beer selections. Assembly Square is basically a mall, but has lots of parking and some good restaurants.

I was visiting my daughter and her family who were just a five minute walk away, so it was perfect for me. There are several good eating places in the Davis Square area. It's a very walkable neighborhood and easy to get around.

We walked across the hotel parking lot to eat dinner our first night at 99 Restaurant & Pub and enjoyed it so much we ate there all four nights of our stay! Great food, good service. Had some trouble navigating the Boston area.
It is surrounded with shops, restaurants and parks. Good for shopping, eating or hanging out with friends or family. The staff are hospitable and helpful, especially Ani at the front desk who always attentive and informative about the hotel and surrounding, make your stay enjoyable. The room is clean and smells good, so relaxing as if you are in the spa. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed all of it. The train station is 2 blocks away can can reach downtown in 25 minutes. Highly recommend the place.
We loved the apartment, located on a quiet road in Somerville about 20 mins walk from Union Square subway station. The apartment was very pleasant, clean, modern, tastefully decorated and quiet. There was a beautiful sitting room, a large and well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful shower in the small but cleverly set-out bathroom. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of electric sockets and lighting. The host was communicative and helpful and the on-street parking was very useful.
We had an excellent stay! The check in was smooth and the place was quaint and functional. The breakfast and daily baked goods were an excellent touch. The bathroom and shower pressure were great. A short walk (5 min or less) to the T. Some good restaurants and bars in the area but the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests over breakfast and it was clear some kept coming back to the same B&B and it was clear why! Would definitely come back. Thanks!
Clean, modern, nice location and staff. My stay was awesome the hotel has everything u need , even type c output everything nearby cafes restaurants pharmacy supermarkets and nice walk to Harvard. They have washer and dryer at the hotel u can use as guest. Gym and like a play space billiards and stuff. The restaurant is top notch.
The owner Christina is super friendly and so welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic, just a block from Davis Square in Somerville where there are tons of restaurants and stores. Free parking too!
Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. I liked the fact that you can ask a take away breakfast if you are in a rush. The location is in a new part of Boston area full of outlet shops. 10 min from Boston centre and 5 min from Somerville center
The location of the private home close to the T. The price compared to hotels if you are willing to accept shared bathroom/shower. It is a charming private home. Much nicer than anonymous hotels that cost twice or three times the money.
Location was good, bus to Harvard is next to the hotel and subway station to the city centre 10 min away.
The bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast was nice even though not so much variety and no fruit or vegetable.
Comfortable hotel with great staff and facilities. Quiet room with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Well equipped gym and games room. Free washing machine and dryer.
The location was perfect for the reason we were in Somerville. We look forward to the restaurant being open. Rooms are very quiet. Bedroom is very comfortable. lobby is comfortable and nicely decorated.
Area of the hotel was nice, just on the opposite of the hotel, there‘s a nice restaurant to pick up food. Everthing was clean and room was comfortable, even though furniture/AC is quite old.
The hotel is situated at a great location . Its near the high way, walking proximity to the transit system . Also love the food complex and shopping area..all in walking distance.
The property was clean but in serious need of updating. The rooms were a little better than the lobby, hallways and elevator. It’s an old hotel with worn furniture and carpeting, etc.
