Mini-kitchen with cooking gear and utensils in the room with a good-sized fridge. Window could slide open, which was the only way to get some fresh air. Bathroom was quite clean and mostly functional. Bed was OK but sagged towards the middle a bit.

Nothing. The place was disgusting and seemed to be housing homeless and or drug rehab type people. I felt very unsafe and checked out after 10 minutes of Bering to find another accommodation. I’m a single mom that was traveling with my young son and we both were extremely uncomfortable. My son informed me that he would rather sleep in the car
This property features free Wi-Fi and free parking. The motel is located within a 10-minute drive of Lake Erie State Park, which features beach access.

The room was clean and comfortable, just outdated but overall a great value. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Location was also good for my travel situation.

We have lived in Dunkirk and went back to visit family and friends. The choices for hotels in Dunkirk leaves much to be desired compared to those along the highway. We have stayed in the Quality Inn, Best Western and the Clarion, which was the worst. They are all owned by the same family and only provide the basic needs. Since we are Hilton Honors members we stay at Hampton Inns if available. The Dunkirk/Fredonia needs an upgraded hotel. SUNY at Fredonia is nearby and the hotels available don’t provide much choice to out-of-town families. Plus the prices are high for the area. We averaged $200+ a day for a mediocre place to stay.

Told to come get a plunger when the toilet overflowed, refuses to switch room and were forced to leave in the middle of the night with my two sons. Worst place ever

Generally an ok stay. Ruins clean. Staff friendly, helpful.
Generally an ok stay. Ruins clean. Staff friendly, helpful. Located next to highway which is s plus and a minus. My room was located in a high traffic noisy area unfortunately and there was a ceiling leak in my bathroom from the room above. Most likely would have had a better stay in a different room.

Nice Marina, convenient to where I needed to travel to.
Nice Marina, convenient to where I needed to travel to. The Big Dipper ice cream parlor is a nice little ice cream shop with lots of choices and good soft serve. There's a taqueria shop that looked nice but we didn't get to try. We have to be back in town for business at the end of the month and hopefully we will try it then. We had breakfast at a small little family run diner (sadly I forget the name). The breakfast was pleasant (good home fries) and owners were lovely to chat with.
I always pick hotels with free breakfast but wow the spread they served was amazing! Nobody left hungry from my mother My husband and kids aged 5 and 15. And the king size bed was perfect for us and the pull out couch was perfect for the teenager to snooze on. We asked the front desk clerk for an extra blanket she was so nice about everything! And the cleaning staff in the morning when we checked out oh they were friendly and funny! We will be back!
Breakfast was ample and varied—hot and cold offerings. Beds were very comfortable—air conditioner was quiet. Room was amply sized. Front desk was extremely accommodating. Location could not be beat— plenty of dining options on the waterfront, nice paved path for walking/running, historic lighthouse nearby, beach. Wine Trail and Lilydale easy drives from the hotel.
Excellent option for one night stay driving Interstate 90. Near highway exit & gas station. Applebee's is across the parking lot and gives a 10% discount to Best Western guests. Staff at hotel were quick and friendly. All around a good place to stop - clean & comfortable at a fair price. Nothing fancy; it's clean and safe.
The room was very comfortable. Guest ice and laundry was easy to reach. No noise from adjacent rooms. The view from the room was the garden and bay/marina. There was an interesting "Market" place on the corner of the same block as the hotel which offered alternative dining with outdoor seating and shopping.
This was a convenient place to spend the night right off of I-90 during a road trip. The staff was friendly and there was a fantastic hot tub and pool. It was a quiet area and we ate at the friendly Applebee's next door.
