We had stayed overnight in Pocatello a number of times, just not in the Fall or at the Fairfield Inn. We now plan to make a trip just to this city next year to take in the various attractions there and its vicinity.

Pocatello is a beautiful high desert city in Southern Idaho.
Pocatello is a beautiful high desert city in Southern Idaho.. it was July so it was obviously super hot.. I was there for a Drs appointment so I didn't do much sight seeing.. I do know there's a lot of open in public drug use down by the University. Personally seen it with my own eyes at the Days Inn across the street.. that part of town is gross. What's really sad.. I didn't see one police officer for the 2 days I stayed down there

I hit a deer an hour outside of Pocatello, totalling my vehicle. I was travelling by myself with my two dogs 14 hours away from home. Everyone I dealt with - state police officers, dispatcher, hotel employees/management, autobody company - were all so kind and compassionate, and I felt that they all had my well being at the forefront. This makes me feel the the community of Pocatello is certainly great.

Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible.
Stay somewhere else. The RedLion Pocatello is horrible. It was very dirty with mildew in tub area, only 2 lights out of 4 worked in Bathroom. Shower head was barely hanging on two the wall. Paint following off ceiling in bathroom and room. Sheet was not put on bed correctly. Just throwing over the sheet over mattress is not correct. We should have left but we just traveled many miles in car and needed to rest. Our error. We got around 2 hrs, sleep and then left the dirty place.

Nice and quiet area.
Nice and quiet area. The hotel is close to other hotels as well as plenty of dining options and even grocery stores. We dined at Texas Roadhouse and MacKenzies. The nearby event center was really nice!
We went to check in and I could clearly tell the employee behind the counter was high on meth. Then she told us our room was not ready it was 5:30pm. I told her we would go find a different place to stay props for La quinta inn for getting us a room 2x the price but we'll worth it. Unless you are a drug addicted please do not go to Days inn Pocatello Id
Your staff at check in and check out were exceptional. Very friendly and professional. Very impressed. Breakfast was decent and early enough to meet our needs as we left at 5:10am. Thank you. The room was super clean. The only negative was the bed was a little too firm. The hotel was quiet and I felt safe. Would stay there again.
The room design was just great, we were in the Western room, and really everything is designed like that - saloon doors, a shower within a watering can etc. Really cool. The room was cooled down when we arrived, unlike the hotel before - and this was very appreciated given the 105 degrees outside. We liked it!
The bistro at the hotel was a bonus. Very nice food at a reasonable price; a convenience we hadn't expected, but were very pleased to partake of. Also, it snowed overnight but the hotel had the parking lot plowed long before guests were leaving.
nice lobby, friendly staff. hotel a little run down. rooms in need of fresh paint, ceiling stains, possible leak.. furniture outdated.. there was som garbage (ziplock baggie ad packaging) left in room, but in general pretty clean.. comfortable
The staff had great customer service and were very welcoming. The breakfast had many options, much more than other hotels. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub that we very much enjoyed since it was freezing to do anything outdoors!
I have stayed at this hotel before and always had great service from the staff. The location is great, close to the Interstate. I was given a discount of 25 dollars upon checkout due to the many issues in our room. This was appreciated.
Staff was nice, called us to let us know that hotel under construction. Did not check us in, let us look first. It was not going to be a comfortable or restful stay with the construction ongoing in our assigned building. We passed.
The room was very spacious. The hotel had a bar/lounge which was very nice and had limited but decent choices. The young lady running the bar was friendly and made our stay enjoyable. The hot tub and pool were very great.
Convenient to I15. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Had pumpkin spice coffee for the Halloween season. Nicely decorated. They did charge 25.00 for our Cat. Another review in 2022 said it was free.
It was a nice little surprise that they had little bits of food left for us. Plenty of beds so my grandparents could stay with us. Much more affordable than hotel rooms. A nice cute lil place was amazing!!
Love that the property is pet friendly! Our room was clean. Appreciated that they offered a hot breakfast! Even though they were short staffed we will definitely stay again! Great location!!
