The Windrifter was located just outside of downtown - so easily accessible to everything. The rooms had a wonderful view of the mountains. The staff were super friendly and gave a couple fantastic dinner recommendations.

I liked the water view- although you could not see it from my hotel room. I got a view of the parking lot.

We had a terrific stay. The owner was cool and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we were staying in one of the cottages. I guess I didn't understand the room descriptions that well. Anyway, we stayed in one of the older cottages. The shower was a little low for my husband's height, but it didn't bother him. The owner told us that they were replacing the older cottages next year. The newer cottages will have taller showers. The cottage we stayed in was still great. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was pretty quiet the nights we stayed. The views were beautiful and the heated saltwater pool was lovely and clean. The resort was in a good location locally. The location also made it easy for us to explore other parts of the state. We'd stay here again. Thanks!
Staying at Lake Winnipesaukee is always a pleasure.
Staying at Lake Winnipesaukee is always a pleasure. In addition to the natural beauty, there are many options for dining and sightseeing. We particularly enjoyed the boat ride offered by the New Hampshire Boat Museum, as well as the Wright WW2 Museum. The are many antique shops in the vicinity, as well as a local farmer's market. We enjoyed eating at Wolf Trap, East of Suez, and Morrisey's.

Wolfeboro is a cute walkable town.
Wolfeboro is a cute walkable town. We enjoyed coffee at Harmony coffee and ate at Marker 21 a couple of times. The Bay Diner is good too for diner food. We ate at Shipley's in Alton Bay. We hiked Mount Major, a very challenging hike, went to the Loon Center and hiked and saw Castle in the clouds. Also took the foliage train ride which we enjoyed. Beautiful time of year to be in NH. Would definitely go back.

They lied about distance from Guilford and refused to give us full refund claiming that they wouldn't be able to rent the room. However, I overhead front desk taking numerous phone calls requesting a room for that night!

Wolfeboro is a “Hallmark” town.
Wolfeboro is a “Hallmark” town. This is a typical New England lake town with all its beauty and charm. There are many cute stores for shopping, lots of ice cream, wonderful restaurants and even a brewery/pub.
Staff was very accommodating for us and our pet. Everything we needed to make it like home. The smores package was great and the fire pit area to make them was even better. The property supplies all the wood you need. WE brought a huge furry friend, the welcome package we received for him was awesome. Awesome refrigerator, WE had a very large family, it was modern and more than enough space for us
The location is unbeatable. It's close but not too close to everything. Breakfast was freshly made and well presented. A bowl of fresh fruit every morning was especially appreciated. Tom and Amanda gave a lot of info on what to do in the area and even let us borrow the bikes. And we enjoyed the Cotton Valley rail trail which is a few minutes away. We highly recommend this B&B.
Breakfast was fantastic. The young man from Turkey was absolutely GREAT and accommodated our breakfast beautifully for us celebrating our 60th anniversary.
Equally, the Magnificent Chef created a grand anniversary cake for us at our dinner celebrating our 60th Anniversary. It was perfect service throughout our stay there by ALL!
It was a beautiful place to stay. Very very clean and quaint. I would not choose to stay in any other place when I return to that area. The staff was INCREBIDLELY kind and accommodating. The location was perfect and close to the lake, parks, walking trails for dogs, and food. AWSOME all around!!
I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and had an older small town hotel charm to it that reminded me a bit of travels with family when I was younger. The location was convenient for a traveler passing through Wolfeboro.
We thought the breakfast was fine, but some homemade options would have been nice. Still, it gave us a chance to explore the area for additional options. We did eat breakfast at Topsides each morning we were there.
