Beautiful area. Small towns to be discovered: Pipestone near the Pipestone National Monument.. Where Local tribe crafts people create peace pipes and figurines and why that area is their sacred space. Edgerton (1960 State Basketball Champions with a High School with just 60 students!) Luverne near Blue Mounds State Park, where we learned about the wild prairie and the bison that used to roam all over it. Viewing the remnants of that prairie with a herd of bison (!) are some of the highlights.ChristineUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

The National Monument is quite lovely and it was good to have both a dusk and a morning visit as the light is so different. Don't miss the visitors center and the chance to talk with working artists there.. I am not at all religious but the collaboration between Nature and Indigenous people here is evident and creates a peaceful or spiritual experience.GregUnited States of America
