My home town. I left 57 years ago. I come back because of very dear old friends but would never move back. I really don't see it as a destination city either. People who live here seem happy enough but we have traveled the world and have a more expansive view of things like cuisine. Our large group ate at the Anchor Inn. Nothing on the menu they gave us for vegetarians let alone vegans. Wouldn't get away with that in Washington State. Sorry folks. There is just so much world out there to smell and taste and dance to the rhythm of.

This town has gone down hill fast!
This town has gone down hill fast! It looks like a ghost town. It isn’t maintained at all, the streets and curbing are dated, the local business’ are suffering and curb appeal is seriously lacking! The homes look awful, overgrown, falling apart, not taken care of-almost poverty struck. It is such a shame. It is also too bad the storms hit this already suffering area. On a positive note, Grandmas restaurant for breakfast is a family favorite. It is a little hidden gem!

I usually don't take advantage of the in-hotel breakfast because they are usually far below my expectations and that is why I go out to breakfast. Too bad you are forced to pay for the in-hotel breakfast as part of the base rate. You should be given a choice.JohnUnited States of America
