A& W Root Beer Stand. Car Hops and all. They have many different restaurants to eat at. It is right near the main town of Faribault and very easy to get to. They also have trails you can go hiking or biking on. It has a lot of restored buildings down main street. I definitely will be going back.

Fairbault itself is OK- they have a few interesting things to do , especially in nice weather. We did visit the new distillery and that was very nice- and a fun place. it is also near other attractions and colleges - so it is centrally located - also about 40 minutes up the interstate to Minneapolis.

I was shocked at this City and only wish I would have had more time to explore. I ate at Joe's Sports Bar & Grill (I believe that was the name ??) and it was delicious. Getting around was a challenge, but that is only due to my eyesight at dark and my GPS sending me in circles.

Don't really know much about Faribaut we checked in and drove over to treasure island casino for a concert. When we returned after midnight everything was closed pretty much we found a perkins restaurant open for a late night supper, and a kwik trip to grad some items to heated for breakfast. The hotel is away from town about 3/4 mile but atleast there is a Dairy Queen right next to it.

I loved the location because it is on the campus of Shattucks St. Mary’s. It is comfortable and quiet. I didn’t like the fact the ice machine was broken and the ice dispenser in the upstairs refrigerator didn’t work either. The carpet in my room is old and needs to be replaced.
I liked everything! Very friendly staff, beautiful campus with walking trails and convenient location if you are traveling in southern MN. There was a lot of history tied to the inn which the front desk staff was able to tell us about. The inn was very clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is very simple, but there was everything from juice to milk and also coffee and rolls, bagels, and yoghurt. I absolutely would recommend the inn to anyone traveling to the Faribault area.
We stayed in a room with 2 Queen size beds to go to a concert in the auditorium at the college. It was great to be able to park and then walk over to the concert. The auditorium was awesome, Dessa put on a great show and we were able to walk back to the hotel. It snowed so it was extra great we didn't have to drive.
A quaint hotel option that is located directly on campus and covenant to Shattuck St. Marys. Rooms are unique and quiet. A convenient continental breakfast area right off the lobby with coffee, juice, and bagels.
Good choice for a well maintained, quiet hotel stay. Good location close to restaurants, other businesses and highways, clean and comfortable rooms, handsomely decorated guest suites.
It was excellent. We loved the accommodations which included a separate bedroom. We did not use the kitchen facilities but we will remember this hotel for future stays.
