Like many mill towns in the northern half of Maine, the town may have seen better days but it's still fairly nice and appears to be more vibrant than towns like Millinocket. The location on Mattanawcook Pond was nice and it's very close to the Penobscot River with its boat ramps and fishing. Downtown Lincoln has a good assortment of stores and restaurants which make staying there very nice.

We weren't there to see Lincoln.

We weren't there to see Lincoln. We were there to meet friends in Enfield. Lincoln was under construction. But to me that only means improvements. We didn't even c all of Lincoln, so I cant give it a fair review. But the restaurant we went to had amazing food. The Beef & Ale. I had french onion soup & lobster stuffed Potato AMAZING. Hubby had Lobster alfredo so good. Nice town. We only saw one stretch of Lincoln were our inn was. I highly recommend the Whitetail Inn & suites. Such a Beautiful, cozy, clean, comfy, friendly, place to stay

I was visiting family. Lincoln is a busy place.

I was visiting family. Lincoln is a busy place. The people are very friendly and the restaurants good. They have a lot of lakes in the area. There are great views in places along the highway. They have a new pub in town called "The Forrester". Excellent food and drink.

Town was beautiful, everything within walking distance, plenty of small shops for perusing, for such a small town, there was some restaurant variety available, also some big city comforts, like McDonald's and Dunkin. The views of the water on Main Street were gorgeous and only a 10 or 15 minute drive to some of the most beautiful and relaxing lakes and hiking trails I've ever been to.

Nothing, I travelled six hours and ended up on a windy dirt road that led me to a little bit up trailer. When I got there the woman said the trailer wasn’t clean and then I could not stay. I said well I’m exhausted where am I supposed to go? She referred me to her sons motel in town, that was fully booked. That’s why k me two hours to find a new place, we were exhausted and it was getting dark and we could not keep driving to our destination.

The hotel is quaint. It is a gorgeous old Victorian home. It's self-check-in. I was called and given the code to the key locker. No person to check you in, hmm. OK. Bathroom was cleanish. Bed was okay. The room was tidy, but nothing extravagant. Water pressure was good and the temperature was good. The power went out overnight, and the:room was freezing. Do not expect a quiet night. It's not exactly sound proof. Traffic runs all night.

The hotel was incredibly nice and quaint. The room was very nice and very clean, as well as the shared bathroom. The area had great accessibility to local restaurants and other accommodations. The staff at the hotel were magnificent! I forgot an essential item in my room, and the staff went out of their way to safeguard it until I was able to return to retrieve it.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner and his maintenance personnel were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I spent several years here in my younger days, fishing, and wandering the woods. I never realized how much I missed it until I returned. If you want to experience the true Maine spirit, visit Lincoln.

Spent my first night in Maine here and I’m so glad I did! I wanted to get out of Bangor and closer to the start of the bold coast and this little quaint town of Lincoln was exactly what I needed! They had contactless check in and were just so friendly! The town is beautiful to walk around too

The property is neat, clean well organized and keep in perfect condition. The rooms are cozy and have all the amenities you would need. They provide coffee and tea in a very nice lounge area. The location is perfect and I have walked to many places from the hotel.

Thought it was going to be a rundown motel, was way better than we expected. Wasn't bothered by any patrons or staff which was great. Nice and cool in the summer heat, all and all a very pleasant stay for such a little town.

I used "Bookng.com" to book my room. When I got there they said that they don't use this service and they had no room for me. All the hotels in the area were booked up, its was raining, and I had no place to go.

Didn't get food. Liked the privacy of where our room was. Everything you need is in walking distance. Just make sure you don't need anything after 8pm cause the town of Lincoln shuts down.

The room was clean and the room rate was cheaper than the surrounding motels.
