The Tillamook Inn, hotel in Tillamook

Located half a mile from the Tillamook Cheese Factory, this Tillamook Bay hotel offers free Wi-Fi and an indoor swimming pool and hot tub.

Was under complete renovation. Garbage cans in the hallway to catch dripping water from ceiling and was given an updated room and the heater wasn’t working, so we had to move to another room. To be honest…. The staff was friendly and this is an old shilo inn, when renovations are done it should be ok.

First time staying in a tiny home. Very clean and well-maintained, thoughtful amenities. Enjoyed the amount of space, full kitchen, heat controls in each area. Outside seating areas on front porch and in back look like they'll be nice to use when the weather isn't as cold and rainy. Easy check-in and check-out, weren't asked to perform lots of chores before leaving.

We LOVED the view! Flew my drone off the balcony. Quick enough access to the beach and to the restaurants in town. The kitchen area was just big enough for our party of four.

I absolutely love the view from Cape Lookout.

I absolutely love the view from Cape Lookout. I didn't even know this place existed. On the way up to it we seen a herd of elk. That was pretty. But the best part was the sun was setting on the bay. It was gorgeous and was able to get some pictures. Fully enjoyed it. Another wonderful place to go is the Cape Meres state park. The Octopus Tree is undesirable. It's the nearest thing to see. It literally looks like an Octopus. The view is beautiful. I'm sad we didn't get to see inside the light house. It was still closed for the season.😭 Absolutely love the cheese factory. Been there several times but this is the first time we had the deep fried cheese curds. Those were good! Can't forget the ice cream cones either. Yummy! Then we went to the Tillamook Country Smoker to get "real" pepperoni sticks that you can't get in any stores.

There are lots of Food Trucks (mostly Mexican and Espresso) but they close early. Crazy Torta had excellent ceviche tostada. The Rendevous Bar & Grill had the best clam chowder (and it's GF too!) They make everything in-house. The line to get into the Tillamook Cheese Factory was ridiculously long. Not worth it IMO. Saturday we went to the farmers market downtown. We enjoyed the wooden boardwalk trail to the Big Tree at Rockaway (find it on Google) and out by Cape Meares walking out to the site of the old city of Bayocean ($10 day use fee) that fell into the ocean. There's a beautiful long stretch of beach out there.

other than the landscape, it did not hold much interest for us. the creamery tour was fun, but was about it. Not many restaurants or places to stay which limits the amount of time the average traveler can stay. While a lovely "pass thru" town, one day is probably all you need. Unless you want to spend alot on a room for the night, suggest that you stay at one of the coastal towns when you get ready to turn in for the night.

It's clean, scenic, quiet and the people are friendly. We were at the coast for work and though our work site is an hour away, we chose to sleep over at Netarts and leave an hour early just to be here for a bit.

We look forward to returning so we can go to the Creamery and Air Museum, closed due to COVID. Restaurants were closed to indoor dining, which is not the fault of the town. We went to Cape Lookout and Cape Meares- great spots.

Tillamook county is one of the most picturesque area of Oregon. There are fabulous views one after another. Be prepared to be amazed at nature's beauty. The Schooner delivered as usual with excellent food and live music with our friends MOJO HOLLAR.

Updated look. Bathroom really tight but offered more little things than usually found in hotel rooms, like razor, shave cream, toothbrushes. Good coffee items too. Opening windows to try to cool it down meant listening to everyone in or around the parking lot 😕, but great to see the box fan there to use! Could see the effort to create a comfortable, modern space out of an old motel room. Liked the kitchen and eating area set up. And the exterior was nicely kept and really cute.

No breakfast, dated uncomfortable furnishings, and misrepresented as only 300 feet to ocean, not saying it was down{and then up} a very steep hill. The cabin is advertised in Tillamook but is,in, fact in Oceanside. Very disappointing experience. Bathrooms small, dated, uncomfortable. Bedrooms small.

This home far exceeded our expectations for our family vacation! Beautiful scenery, comfy beds, large ping pong table, pet friendly, and close to beach access. We had so much fun that we were sad to go home. Thank you for the wonderful memories! We will definitely be back again!

The location is the big draw to this rental - a one minute drive to one of the most fantastic beaches on the Oregon Coast. Also so close to Tunnel Beach. The view is also spectacular from the deck of the home.
