Nice little downtown area. Lots of lakes and quite a few restaurants for such a small town. There were a couple of nice bait shops - which were good for fishing! We ate at a nice bar/restaurant called Harbor View, which was close to our rental. We also rented a pontoon from Birch Island Resort and spent a day on a couple of the lakes. It appears that Birch Island Resort is one of the last remaining places to rent a pontoon. The folks at Birch Island Resort were extremely nice - and their bar/restaurant looks good - although we didn't eat there. They also have 3 nice looking cabins available to rent!

Phillips is a small north Wisconsin town where most of the activities are at the resorts surrounding it. There is a golf course and the HS has tennis courts. The city is surrounded by lakes and parks. The Concrete Park is to be seen. I ate breakfast at Bonnie’s which was excellent. Friendly servers and good hot food. Had fish dinner at the Harbor on a Friday night. Staff at the Harbor were welcoming and found a table for us quickly. The food was good too.

Very easy to find. Close to restaurants and downtown. Nice friendly community. Would like to come back for a longer visit. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. was the perfect getaway weekend for our 38th wedding anniversary. Thanks for some good memories.
