Ashore Hotel, hotel in Gearhart

Located in Seaside, a 1-minute walk from Seaside Beach, Ashore Hotel has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking and a bar.

I really liked the repurposed industrial style interior design and loved the overall feeling of the hotel , all are welcome here. As a European native I appreciate the recycling option in the room and the great tasting local coffee and French press in the room. We all enjoyed the breakfast we ordered at the hotel the next morning . Bonus- the food is also local and organic , the waffles were amazing . The kids had fun at the saltwater pool and I enjoyed the pool , sauna and a glass of wine from the bar . Great to know fur babies are also welcome here. The staff at our hotel was exceptional , they were so friendly and helpful . I will definitely stay here again!!

Like I said previously, if you do not look 55 or older, do not go here. The service was extremely disappointing. We planned a night to have a special meal. We had to end up canceling, mid meal, because the staff was so rude to us. We started our meal, after we were ignored for drinks we let it slide. Once we ordered our appetizer and our server threw it on our table without saying a word, we decided it was time to cancel. This was after we had been mistreated multiple other times.

    We had a fantastic time.

We had a fantastic time. Overall it was a very relaxing stay. Great location. You must try Grandma’s corner restaurant! Had the best omelette and hash browns ever!!!!! That says a lot, as I’m a food snob. After stuffing ourselves, we drove south to Seaside to pick up a few things we forgot. Then we drove North again, to Sunset beach for a beach cleanup. After we finished there, we headed to Astoria to visit Fort George Brewery. Wow, beautiful beer. It was amazing to go home to our condo rental. It was so tranquil after a busy day. We were excited to learn we had access to ESPN, so we were able to watch the 2nd half of the Blazer game! I wish I was still there...

Nice continental breakfast. Good coffee in room. Offer food items for diabetics without sugar. Perfect location for beach access, walks around town, walk to McMenamins at golf course, etc. Best beach-combing beach for whole sand dollars. Try to go at low tide. Beautiful sunsets from park bench or beach.

it was close to the beach. my wife has a severe respiratory disorder and can not walk very far. we would drive around the corner and drive on the beach. It made it so she could walk on the beach without being exhausted. i would love to stay again

Gorgeous hotel. Wonderful restaurant. The staff were so kind and the food was fantastic. The rooms were so comfy and quiet. And I absolutely adore the McMenamins bikes! I'd buy one if I could. Even if they're a tad difficult to ride.

Excellent location in a beautiful community. Walk to the beach was amazing. Lots of charm and character. The house was stocked with everything you'd need for the beach. You don't need to bring a thing! The sauna was amazing.
