It is a nice hotel for the money! It is undergoing renovations with the hot tub and exercise areas closed so we were disappointed. Nice breakfast with waffles! Great location, Duluth and Superior are at the bottom of the hill!

We stayed at the Cobblestone Superior and it was a great choice! The king suite had a full kitchen, which would be great for a longer stay or families looking to save some money by eating in. It was also a really quiet room; in the living room, I could not even hear the TV that was on in the bedroom. We got room service from the Wissota Chophouse and it was AMAZING! Their menu is really interesting, with some eclectic options; fantastic beer and cocktail options as well! The area is improving, I had read there were a lot of vacant shops, but we found a nice coffee shop and some cute boutique shops near the hotel. The Pride parade went right by the hotel, which was awesome! There are a lot of parks nearby so a lot of green area to explore; and Duluth is just a short drive away! If you wanted a fast food option, that was nearby as well.

Found several great restaurants including Superior Restaurant and Anchor Bar. Enjoyed going to Wisconsin Point and walking the beach. People were very friendly and helpful.
Getting around is very easy as it’s on a grid system!

Love the area - but, the Superior Super 8 was the worst Super 8 hotel we have experienced. The room was clean, but the third degree and my wife also having to come in and sign the form was a pain - the breakfast was the same as nothing.

The hotel was right next to a mobile home park but still was clean and nice staff. The rooms were clean.
We ate at "Grizzlys" not good service and not good food. Overrated. So maybe find a better choice in food.

We enjoyed the walking path along the bayfront both in Duluth and Superior.
The Superior Inn was close to the bridge to Duluth. So easy to take advantage of activities in Duluth and up the North Shore.
Also, being in Superior gave us quick access the some of the beauty of Northern Wi.
This hotel was filthy. They did not have housekeeping any of the days we were there and there was no mention of that fact when I booked the room. When we asked, they said it was Covid protocol. IF that was the case, why didn't anyone clean the breakfast area? Why didn't they wear masks? Why couldn't they clean the elevator? I will NEVER stay here again even though I have to stay in the area to see my family. Beware! They are lazy and slovenly and WAY over-priced. If I could give a minus score, I would!
now with covid restrictions .. still love to continental breakfast was still available ... even the toast was wrapped individually LOL ... was able to grab a banana and a blueberry muffin...the hotel is older so not much to criticize. grounds and building is kept clean and don have a old smell ..pool area was clean... staff is always polite an friendly ... funny I love that they still us a real key to enter your room
I've stayed at alot of hotels and this is by far the dirtiest I've ever stayed at. Sheets and towels had stains and we're dirty like they hadn't been washed in quite some time. The oder in the office, hallway and room we're almost unbearable. 2 minutes after checking in and walking into my room I went back to office to try and get my money back. Was supposed to stay two nights and only stayed one.
The location is near Duluth but located in WI as opposed to MN. Hotels in Duluth are so expensive, and this lovely inn fit our expectation. The breakfast is wonderful, but the Pizza provided at night is, emmmm, just a kind of food that can satisfy my hunger. The crew is so friendly and lovely, love them!
Hotel itself was nice and new but surrounded by older buildings that seemed a bit run down. Not ghetto, just dated. Friendly staff and easy check in. Comfy room. Breakfast was comparable to other mid tier hotels, a few hot items, a bunch of grab and go stuff. No complaints. Was just here for a day.
We did not stay they are not pet friendly. We should have went directly to the Super 8 website. Booking.com stinks do not use them. The staff found us another hotel in the area they are great. Travel 1000 mile to find out booking.com does not do research.
Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, pool was clean, breakfast was better than many we have seen, conveniently located near US Hwy 2. The pancake machine was amazing! Not operated by the Patel hotel cartel.
Overall, very nice hotel for the money. Newer beds, comfortable. Nice staff, decent parking, and pretty clean. Relatively quiet area. Really nice spot if headed north or more towards Bayfield.
The staff here went out of their way to make us feel like treasured guests. In these times, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was greatly appreciated. I felt like I was staying with friends
Hotel is bit dated but for what we needed was great! Rooms were clean and confortable, and actually quite large compared to others. The staff are AMAZING they go above and beyond.
Liked the location of the hotel, not too far from Duluth. The breakfast was okay, went to breakfast a little later in the morning and they didn't have everything available to us.
