Close to NW Trek wild animal park, which is a very cool place. Reasonably close to the Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier.

We also visited a local drug store, that carries a bit of everything you might need on a trip. The two ladies there were very friendly and helpful.
We visited the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park for our 3rd time, first time for our friend. We really enjoyed it. Especially watching the two grizzley bears play in the water, and the sea otters are always a highlight.
We took the train tour from Elbe to the train museum in Mineral. The train crew were all very friendly and informative..
Our main reason for our trip was to see the wildflowers at their peak on Mt Rainier.
The location provides a home base for exploring Mt.Rainier National Park. 20 minutes drive, and you are in the park. Alder Lake Park is 10 minutes away with boating and swimming or relaxing at the park.
Eatonville has a nice grocery store, pharmacy, and a variety of restaurants and shops.
I have stayed at Mill Village Motel some 20 years now because the rooms and staff are wounderful
This was the closest hotel I could find near the southwestern entrance to Mt. Rainier. There are no frills, no breakfast, but the room was clean and comfortable. It was about a 45-minute drive to the National Park. We stayed for two nights, but mainly just slept there because we were enjoying the outdoors.
The location is fabulous! We love this little town! Everyone is so friendly! There are several quaint restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance and a grocery store across the street. The hotel itself leaves nothing to be desired.
Billie had everything we needed. The suite was very clean and all the instructions were very clear. It was above any hotel suite we’ve been in and very comfortable and homey. They had everything available that we needed.
This hotel does not provide breakfast. The location was convenient to activities and sights in the vicinity including Mount Rainier National Park. The location was within walking distance of several good restaurants.
1. Free warm breakfast. Clean tables.
2. Nice location. Only 30 minutes drive to Mount Rainier.
3. Room is spacious and very quiet at night even though the hotel is close to the road.
The Staff are wonderful friends of mine as I stay very often here. Eatonville is a great little city in the mountains with all one needs. Nice and quiet at night as well.
Great location. Enjoyed Mexican food next door. The breakfast sandwich served at the hotel was good. The in-room fridge was very large compared to most hotels.
