Reserved 6 rooms for a student athletic group stay and 7 additional rooms for parents. Check in was fast and easy and staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we were supposed to have a hot breakfast served at 5:30am for our athletes but that did not happen. Hotel said they knew nothing about that. This was very frustrating and disappointing because we had planned for our athletes to be fed a hot breakfast.

We apologize for any inconvenience your group may have experienced during your stay as we understand breakfast is the most important meal for athletes. Although breakfast staff was slow to serve hot foods (eggs, sausage/bacon), we hope your athletes enjoyed the fruits, yogurts, pastries, breads, and cereals that were provided. We are working with the hotel breakfast staff to make sure that every student/guest receives an adequate variety of breakfast options both hot and cold.

Property Description

The Comfort Inn® Gunston Corner is ideally off Interstate 95, just minutes from Washington, D.C. This Lorton hotel is close to many exciting attractions and businesses, including Fort Belvoir, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Potomac Hospital, the White House and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (Reagan National Airport) and the Washington Dulles International Airport are only a short drive from the hotel.Additional local points of interest include:Iwo Jima Memorial, Ford's Theatre National Historic Site, Chinatown, Arlington National Cemetery, National Mall & Memorial Parks. Visitors will enjoy shopping at the nearby Potomac Mills mall and Tysons Corner Center. A few golf courses are just five miles away. A number of restaurants and cocktail lounges are located in the surrounding area.Be sure to visit the 24-hour sundry shop and fully staffed Fairfax County Visitor's Center, located on the premises.
