Recently opened in July 2005, the Marriott New Orleans at the Convention Center delivers history and legends. Located in one of the world's greatest destinations, this 331 room hotel retains unique elements of the former cotton mill that stood in the mid 1800s and is located directly across from the convention center, Riverwalk Mall and cruise ship terminals. The Marriott Convention Center offers the new Marriott "Dreamy" beds, flat screen tvs, In-room Dining, bathrobes and many more plush amenities. Our guests will enjoy the full New Orleans experience of shopping, French Quarter, river cruises, museums, the Aquarium of the Americas, Harrah's Casino, street car excursions and the city's finest restaurants. For our meeting planners, our professional event team will execute meetings and events of any size in our state-of-the-art meeting facilities boasting 24,464 square feet of meeting space.
