Experience the real Jamaica in this 1922 original colonial-style-house with spacious verandas and ocean view. The bed & breakfast is located in the nicest part of Jamaica. Only a 3 minute walk to a wonderful sandy beach where you can find turtles nesting during certain times of the year, watch the locals bring in fish, or just sit and relax.Delicious breakfast from the neighboring German bakery is not included in price (6,50 $). Dinner on request is possible. Guests also have the use of the kitchen in the house to cook their own meals.The rooms are spacious, clean and adequately furnished (complete with a heavy duty fan and mosquito netting above the bed) like the other bedrooms inside the house. The trip to Ocho Rios costs approximately $2 and the ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Local buses (which are less expensive) and taxis run all day and through the night and they stop in front of the guesthouse (so the most you wait is 3 minutes). Tours to the most interesting spots in Jamaica can also be arranged.
