L'antica fattoria di Poggio Oliveto sorge immersa nel cuore verde delle colline maremmane.La struttura, edificata nel 1500 dalla famiglia Venturi di Roccastrada, visse il suo massimo splendore intorno al 1800, quando i Conti della Gherardesca ne fecero un borgo abitato da numerose famiglie.Dal 1982 Poggio Oliveto con i suoi 115 ettari di terreni circostanti è proprietà della famiglia Curatolo che non solo ristrutturando e valorizzando le strutture più significative, ma anche riprendendo l'attività agricola con sistemi produttivi avanzati anche dal punto di vista ecologico, l'ha riportato al suo antico splendore. All'interno del borgo, completamente ristrutturato, si trova una caratteristica casa colonica a "ferro di cavallo" adibita a struttura abitativa destinata ai proprietari e agli ospiti dell'agriturismo, ed alla quale sono annessi un frantoio a macine, ancora utilizzato per la produzione di Olio Extravergine di oliva, una Chiesetta che conserva interamente la sua costruzione esile originaria, ed un antico pozzo a forma ottagonale. La fattoria è ideale per vacanze ricche di colori, profumi ee sapori genuini in un'armoniosa e tranquilla atmosfera.Tutto è stato curato rispettando le tradizioni dei luoghi. Oggi l'ospitalità familiare dei proprietari, insieme ai numerosi comfort, fanno di Poggio Oliveto il luogo ideale per trascorrere una gradevole e tranquilla vacanza immersi nella natura.
