The Miraj Hotel is located at the "gateway" to the Derbyshire Dales, in the ancient spa town of Ashbourne. Only minutes from Dovedale, a scenic limestone valley whose stepping stones attract millions of visitors a year. Nearby points of interest include Alton Towers Theme Park (just 10 miles away), Chatsworth House and Carsington Water. Several shopping opportunities can be found around the Derbyshire towns of Derby, Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton.
There are 50 en-suite bedrooms with a variety of Standard, Executive and Club rooms. Breakfast is available in our Milldale Restaurant, a calm and more tranquil setting. The Black Sheep Bar is the ideal venue to enjoy hearty bar food with a refreshing pint or glass of wine.
As well as an indoor heated swimming-pool, the Miraj Leisure Club offers a steam room, sauna, and a fitness studio. Spa treatments including wonderfully relaxing massages contribute to a tranquil haven away from the stress and strain of everyday life. Spa treatments are available by appointment only.
