The Howard Johnson Hotel is located on Harrisburg pike in Carlisle. In the lobby is a small sitting area with fireplace and business center and ATM next to it. The Sports themed Pub/lounge is off to the left upon entry and is opened for dinner. Guest rooms feature refrigerators, WIFI in the main building and breakfast included in rate. Most of the guest rooms are interior corridor but a few are exterior. If you are staying for a longer period of time the hotel has a separate building in the rear where the laundry facilities are located. The hotel is doing a major renovation with upgrades to new standards coming within the next year; upgrades to include faster WIFI, more TV channels, complete guest room overall-bedding, draperies, etc. If you were looking to host an event the hotel has a ballroom that can accommodate up to 250+ guests, a smaller ballroom and boardrooms. The hotel manager is very passionate about the hotel and upcoming improvements that they would take care of any budget minded traveler.

Our Diamond Inn property is under new management and we have started the renovation process to assure everyone will have the comforts of home away from home! We pride ourselves on a new staff that is ready to assist you with a true customer service driven attitude and a " Can Do " frame of mind. We currently offer a Hot breakfast and will be adding new amenities as we move forward. We welcome all sizes of groups, from sports teams, family reunions, weddings, business/corporate stays and more. We also offer a SPECIAL RATE for extended stay requests as well as fantastic Corporate rates. ( direct billing available ) We offer comfortable rooms and very competitive pricing and can price match if you are interested! Kings and Doubles are available for every individuals' needs. *We have newly renovated event space from a small meeting space to a beautiful Ballroom to host your venue needs. Available for graduation, post prom parties, conventions, card clubs and shows, business meetings, business training courses, indoor auctions/sales, family reunions, musical events/concerts, and YES even indoor ping pong tournaments!
