"Exciting boutique hotel in a great location"
Overall Score5.0/ 5
There is a new option in Boston. The new Boxer Hotel is an exciting boutique hotel in a great location just a few blocks from Faneuil Hall
, the TD Garden and the Boston Courthouse. Modern rooms and a great new restaurant offering a simple menu at great prices are some of the things to enjoy at the Boxer. This new option will save you money, but allow you to be in a great area of Boston.

"A pleasant stay!"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
The hotel was nice and the staff was very attentive. My room was quiet, clean and comfortable, but I did feel some features were a little worn for a hotel that was renovated not too long ago. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the property.

"Dark room and disappointing service"
Overall Score3.0/ 5
I was very disappointed with my recent stay at the Boxer. I had arranged for a large group to stay for four five nights and we found the staff at the hotel difficult to deal with (their emails were often rude, or incoherent, they sent incorrect rooming lists and the day after I checked we received an email to say that I had not checked in!) and I appear to have been given the worst room in the hotel: it was a corner room on the 2nd floor, so close to traffic noise and I had only a half window (about two foot wide) so the room was very very dark and gloomy, even in the middle of the day. I asked to change rooms but was told it was not possible. The housekeeping in my room was also below standard (used glasses not washed up, towels not folded, iron not put away, hair left in the shower plug hole) and on my last evening I went to the bar for a drink to find it closed. I was told it was closed because the chef was unwell and I can understand why that would cause the kitchen to close but for the bar to be closed also (and on a Friday night) I thought very strange. If I visit Boston again I will not be staying at the Boxer.

"Exceptional Customer Service!"
Overall Score5.0/ 5
We chose this venue for our sales incentive trip and booked 20 rooms. The front desk manager, Calvin and the bartender, James, made our stay most enjoyable. They were very personable and went above and beyond to make our stay most memorable in which the succeeded in every way. I would highly recommend staying here and if I ever go back to Boston this is where I would choose to stay as all of our other guests that attended. Thank you.

"Amazing Location, Wonderful Staff, Excellent Breakfast, and Nice Rooms."
Overall Score5.0/ 5
We brought 40 people for the Harvard debate tournament and worked with Kathleen to set up our stay at The Boxer Hotel. It is in a great location very close to Quincy Market and North Station T. The staff was amazing. All were friendly, helpful and hard working. We stayed five nights and enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. It was delicious. The hotel reminded me of stepping back in time a little. Rooms are not huge, but they are clean, cozy and the location is excellent. I would highly recommend staying here. Easy walking distance to so much even in huge snow storms!

"An Excellent Experience"
Overall Score5.0/ 5
The Boxer Hotel met and exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with a group of teenagers for a journalism conference. Not only did the hotel go out of our way to greet us each day as we left and returned from the conference, but they went above and beyond for every aspect of our stay. They hotel was quiet, clean, and modern. I will definitely choose this location again when visiting Boston. Great job!
