The Historic Panama Hotel, built in 1910, has been in operation for 102 years. It has been designated a "National Historic Landmark" by the National Parks Service's Department of the Interior, since 2006. The property posesses national significance in commemorating the history of the United States of America. The Hashidate-Yu Sento, located in the basement of the building is one of two surviving intact Japanese public Bathhouses in the United States. Guest rooms are furnished with antiques and original artwork. Bottled water and toiletries in rooms are complimentary. Free wireless internet is available in rooms. All accommodations include complimentary continental breakfast, served at each Guest's convenience in the Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House located on the ground level of the hotel. Centrally located, the hotel is a leisurely 20 minute walk to Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Benaroya Hall and 5 to 10 minutes to Safeco Field and Centurylink Field. The hotel is European Style, with the shower and toilets as shared facilities down the hall. The Panama Hotel Tea & Coffee House has a meeting space which can be reserved.
