We enjoyed our stay for two days. Very comfortable, clean, great breakfast bar, everyone was very nice to visit with. Its nice to know it's pet friendly. The cost was reasonable. We will stay there again if we are traveling thru. Very Pleased.

"Beautiful Facility, but Customer Service was Lacking."

The whole facility was just beautiful, great rooms, pool, courtyard, but the customer service was lacking. We were told we had to leave the breakfast room because they had to clean and we asked if we could just sit there and they said no. Our rooms got cancelled after we had called, but luckily, we still got rooms. We were there and got caught in a blizzard, we asked if we could extend just a couple hours and we were rudely told no exceptions. My husband and I had thought about going back on our anniversary, but after our experience there, we will find another place.

"Just OK. Could Use Some Improvement The Way Things Were Handled."

Reservations were a nightmare. The billing was all to go on one credit card. A few including myself have been billed. We were asked for our credit card for incidentals. The only other complaint was Sunday morning we were asked to leave the breakfast area so they could clean. I'm sure they meant to say we are going to start cleaning, you may stay in here, but we did not hear it that way.

"Poor Customer Care"

Had several rooms booked well in advance and then got canceled without notice three days before the night we were to be checking in. Then got a charge for the room when my work company was to receive the bill. The lady at the front desk did say they would fix so I am waiting on credit back to my account. The rooms and hotel in general was a nice place although the bedding was dirty had some stains and such on the blankets.

Stoney Creek Hotel & conference Center, Sioux City, offers 161 unique guest rooms, all with refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. A variety of theme suites with fireplace, wet bar and whirlpool are also available. This upscale urban lodge welcomes business travelers and conference participants, as well as sports teams and families. Located in the heart of downtown Sioux City and adjacent to the Tyson Event Center, Sioux City's newest hotel provides a combination of high tech environment and "People First" attitude. Stoney Creek Hotel, Sioux City, was voted #1 hotel by Siouxlanders through the Siouxlands Choice Awards in January, 2010, after only opened 7 months.Our 16,000 square feet of multi use conference space is Sioux City's newest event center. The Rivers' Bend Conference Center has 6500 square feet of space, and is perfect for weddings, social events, and large conferences. Seven additional meeting rooms are available for break out rooms, rehearsal dinners and meal functions. Expansive pre function space is available for registrations, exhibit space and general convention check in.Palmers Pub is the hotel lobby bar located right off the lobby. Specialty pizzas are served as well as a variety of beverages with a 5-7 p.m. happy hour.The business and convention traveler will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, free wireless internet, fitness facility, gift shop and public laundry facilities. Our Northwoods Traveler Club is available to the frequent traveler. The sports team and leisure traveler will enjoy the indoor/outdoor swim through pool with a game room down the hall. Every guest will enjoy our hot extended breakfast included in their stay. Chef Wolfgang Puck coffee is available to all guests at all times during their stay in the Chuckwagon breakfast room.
