Property Description
At Travelodge Suites New Glasgow we want you to stay and enjoy the many special touches that make a visit to our hotel more like a stay with friends or family. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day in our lobby. You can also catch up on that paperwork or take advantage of our complimentary high speed internet. Located just off Highway 104 (the Trans Canada Highway) at Exit 23, the Travelodge Suites New Glasgow is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. We are pleased to announce we have been awarded a 3 Key rating with the Green Key Eco Rating Program from the Hotel Association of Canada. We have a small meeting room available that can accommodate up to 12 people in a board room style set up. For those guests travelling in a group, we offer competitive tour and group rates. We are located beside Swiss Chalet restaurant and across from Highland Square Mall and Walmart. Burger King is across the street from us and Wendy's/Tim Horton's is two buildings down. We have a partnership with the YMCA of Pictou County and able to offer single day passes for their facilities. We are 20 minutes away from the PEI Ferry and Caribou/Munroe's Island beach. We are 20 minutes away from Melmerby Provincial park going East. We are a 35 minute drive from Antigonish or Truro and 3 hours from Sydney and the Newfoundland Ferry. We are 1 hour and 40 minutes from Halifax and 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Halifax airport. We have many beaches and walking trails to explore year-round. You would be surprised how beautiful the beaches are in the winter. Nova Scotia is beautiful place to visit and live and Pictou County is very centrally located to all Nova Scotia has to offer.
