I book thru a hotel booking and was shocked at the price difference. I was charged more than hotel would have charged. My mistake. Will never book thru 3rd party again!

Very impressed with location, our room, amenities, buffet breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to switch from a second floor room to a ground floor room at check in. Very friendly and courteous hostess.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pull up to Holiday Inn Express Houghton Keweenaw to find it very nicely landscaped and most of the flowers in bloom. As we entered the lobby we find it bright and inviting an staffed by a very friendly young lady that checked us in and answered any questions that we had about our stay and the area. Our room was clean and very nice to relax in after our 10 hour journey. We found breakfast to have plenty of selections and the young lady servicing breakfast to a sold out hotel kept her composure as she tried to keep the breakfast buffet supplied as well as try to diagnose and fix a temperamental pancake machine for a young guest. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would certainly stay here again if we find ourselves in this area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
