The Fort Nelson Hotel is a full service hotel compose of Bar, Restaurant, and our newly renovated Lounge. The area forms the centre of one of Canada's largest natural gas fields with virtually every major oil company represented in the area. With a population of some seven thousand in Fort Nelson, the field camps in the area required to service the gas fields house more than nice thousand. The oil and gas industry has paid much more than the hospitality industry. The recent renovations have resulted in many improved amenities and guest services as we have now upgraded all the working internal systems in this venerable hospitality complex. From the new front desk computer systems, to the new boiler room, from the delicious new café to our fully catered Banquet rooms which are all renewed and ideal for meetings and events. We have fully licensed Fort Hotel Bar with recently upgraded sound system. Our Fort Hotel Café also offers all type of food from breakfast to dinner and offers our very own menu. Our Sierra Lounge offers a fine dining and special cuisine made by our one of the best cooks in Fort Nelson BC. It is also our intent to function as a quality accommodation destination, which is comfortable, entertaining and memorable. With our indoor courtyard garden and pool we are much like a tropical oasis at mile 300 on the Alaska Highway. We offer 137 air-conditioned rooms of various sizes. Fort Nelson Hotel provides a spacious parking facility, the largest in the area for groups of all size. We also provide a toll free number. Our spacious trailer parks currently accommodate 30 trailers and our commercial area around the hotel holds 10 commercial stores.
