Staying at the Hampton Inn in Corning/Painted Post was very good. Rooms were clean—we especially like the freshly laundered duvets each time the room changes occupants—and comfortable and fresh. The breakfast each morning was one of the best we've encountered and we've stayed at many Hampton Inns over the years. We highly recommend this place. in fact, we've already booked a room in advance for our return trip, which is over Labor Day weekend.
