Property Description
We are a young Boutique Accommodation nestled in the heart of the Central Business District of Cape Town, only steps away from Greenmarket Square. The decor is classic black and white with old Hollywood fabric pictures adorning the walls, with a splash of colour here and there to take the clinical feel of white away. All our rooms are named after the 50's 60's and 70's movie stars. The standard rooms are simple yet beautiful double bed rooms with white fresh linen, and plush black carpets. Each have dimmer light switches and chandeliers. These rooms only have a shower and no TV's. The standards are best offered to travellers or overnighters who just need a safe, clean place to lay their heads down and plan to be out 90% of the time and don't require a TV. We have 2 bathrooms (2x male and 1x female) for only the 3 standard rooms to share. Our guests always say as long as the shower is in the privacy of their room they don't mind the toilet and basin being elsewhere (very similar to a home without an en- suite bathroom). Our deluxe rooms consist of Queen size beds, white or black linen, plush black carpets. Each one also has dimmer light switches, chandeliers and Faux Crystal lamps. These rooms have a black porcelain modern open-plan shower, basin and toilet. The Superior Deluxe rooms are our new rooms and very similar to the deluxes the only difference being that they have enclosed bathrooms. The Brigitte Bardot family room has 2x Queen size beds and sleeps 4. With enclosed bathrooms Marilyn Monroe Room has 1x Queen and 1x sleeper couch. best suited for a young family with small children. With enclosed bathrooms. These rooms have flat screen TV's with DSTV channels. All the rooms have Tea and Coffee Trays.. Breakfast is served in the dining room and a continental breakfast is included in the room rate however there is a menu for other delicious breakfast choices. This dining room changes into the soul of a party should you hire the entire venue for a private party/function. Catering can be arranged.So, there is a little more of an idea as to what The Glam is all about.
