Located in a great downtown location in walking distance to, Citadel attractions and convention center the two hotels are side by side connected by pool with outdoor pool deck and fitness room and convention center and are the newest hotels in Halifax – only four years old. Hampton Inn The nice modern lobby designed in red, brown and blue contemporary style with snack shop leads into a spacious restaurant/bar/lounge area with fireplace that serves complimentary coffee and tea all day long and is also the area where the free breakfast is served. The bright, airy and spacious modern 181 rooms offer desk and lap desk, Keurig coffee maker, 42 inch flat screen HDTV, mini fridge, iron with iron board. Nice bathrooms with tub/shower combo or large shower offer hair dryer and Neutrogena bath products. Free WiFi throughout the hotel is also included in your stay. The rooms on the higher floor offer a great view of downtown Halifax and the Citadel. The artwork in the room is provided by local artists. The modern conference centre offers all inclusive meeting packages including tax, contemporary A/V technology including video conferencing, seven flexible meeting spaces with floor to ceiling windows and a free, 24 hour business center The Homewood Suites is more geared towards the corporate traveler. The lounge adjacent to the comptenporary lobby designed in blue and gray tones offers fireplace and coffee and tea all day. This also serves as the area where the free hot breakfast and free social fare with non alcoholic beverages Monday to Thursday evenings are served. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. Free grocery shopping service and 24 hour on site convenience store on site. Spacious, comfortable and modern rooms that are studios or one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens. Large ergonomic desks and 42 inch flat screen HDTV in the separate living area. Nice bathrooms with tub/shower combo or large shower offer hair dryer and Neutrogena bath products.
