The Hotel Fauchère Relais & Chateaux is an historic, exceptional boutique hotel at the center of the National Historic District in Milford, PA, 75 miles from New York City and 125 miles from Philadelphia. The hotel offers 17 rooms, each with marble bathrooms with radiant floor heat, heated towel racks, Kiehl's skin and hair amenities, Frette linens. Hotel Fauchere has three restaurants on-site, classic fine dining in the Delmonico Room, a stylish bistro-style Bar Louis offering global cuisine, both in the main hotel building, and an adjacent Patisserie cafe. The Fauchère Meeting Center is a newly-completed (2015) corporate meeting, retreat and conference center with a main board room, two breakout rooms, a work area and casual lounge facility. High-quality wireless and hard-wired internet service is available throughout the complex. A day spa, yoga studio and other services, as well as the galleries and boutiques in Milford, are all within a five minute walk of the hotel. The hotel's 575 acre private forest retreat, the Dwarfskill Preserve, is six miles from Milford and includes a mile of Class A trout stream, as well as cabins and facilities for team building exercises.Milford, PA, has been called "the prettiest county seat in America" for its tree-lined streets and cupola-capped Victorian buildings, perched on the banks of the pristine Upper Delaware River. Milford is the north gate to the 70,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Park, offering excellent hiking/biking trails, a network of waterfalls, canoeing, tubing and kayaking on the river. Heritage attractions in Milford include Grey Towers National Historic Site (a 19th century bluestone Normanesque Chateau that was the birthplace of the American Conservation Movement), the Columns Museum, featuring the blood-stained flag that cushioned President Lincoln's head moments after he was assassinated and other historic attractions.
