"Do Not Lodge Here!"
Overall Score1.0/ 5
The manager Perry Bombaywala right out lied about the condition of the room. The room did not have a kitchenette as he described to me when I spoke with him on the phone, the room was extremely dirty and had a foul odor of dirty laundry that had never been washed, the room is best described as a typical place where you would find prostitutes, junkies, crack smokers and drug dealers. There were so many cockroaches inside the room that it was uninhabitable. I was totally amazed when I attempted to turned on the half broken light in the bathroom and roaches literally ran from everywhere in a space approximately the size of my shoe there must have been over 100 roaches, it looked as if the floor was moving. The cockroaches were so many that I was afraid to stay in the room and if I did I'm sure I would have contaminated myself with some type of infection that would cause a hospitalization stay. Also take into consideration the room Mr. Perry assigned to me lacked a secure latching locked door. The door frame was apparently damaged by a previous occupant and was then repaired with spray foam sealant, one hard push on the door to the room and any of the criminal element staying and hanging out at the Great Value Inn would have access to violate my safety. For the minutes that I stayed there at the Value Inn I felt my personal safety was very much in jeopardy. Lucky for me I was able to drive find another location to stay at where I felt safe and secure and did not have to worry about being violated by any criminal element.
