Property Description

Our hotel has finished a complete 4.5 million revonation in 2009 which include refurbishment of all our guestrooms, with brand new mattresses, carpeting in every room, new window treatments, duvets and bed ruffles have been finalized. Our pool area has just recently been renovated as well with brand new furniture, pool surface area and landscaping offering more of a tropical feel. All guestrooms are tastefully furnished and offer every amenity found in a boutique hotel. The hotel has two wonderful casual restaurants located close by---IHOP and Bennigan's Restaurant offering 10% discount on all meals.Our property is conveniently located just 4 miles outside the San Jose International Airport, offering a resort like setting. Our guests enjoy access to San Jose and Santa Clara area attractions and the proximity to downtown San Jose is just 10 minutes away. We provide complimentary courtesy shuttle service to the Airport upon request and anywhere within a 5 mile radius. The hotel is also located next to Paramounts Great America Theme Park offering discount tickets for our guests. The hotel also offers 800square feet of meeting space that can be configured to our clients needs. Catering for meeting functions is also available.

Green Sustainability

Avatar Hotel is part of Joie de Vivre's and Commune Hotels Green Dreams program.The hotel has reduced water-use through low-flow faucets and replacing water hungry lawns with turf. Avatar HotelWhile Avatar Hotel is geared toward the tech-savvy people of Silicon Valley, you don't have to be a nerd to enjoy its sustainable amenities. Guests can choose recycled pens and paper, reusable memory sticks and soy-based inks for their meeting supplies. The hotel has local, organic snacks, and guests don't have to feel guilty if they order too much because Avatar Hotel has a food donation program. The hotel uses ENERGY STAR appliances and has low-flow showerheads and faucets to conserve water.
